True, Martial Arts are pretty useless in a real street fight ...... they make you fitter and increase stamina but you aint gonna be turning into Rambo ..... :(

anybody else do anything like that?i have been training martial arts for 7 years... i have kung fu(time and energy) in the following concepts; northern longfist, hsing-i, pa kua, tai chi, iron bar, iron bar juggling, iron ring, broadsword, straight sword, cane fighting, stick fighting, and a variety of qigong(chi kung) exercises.

True, Martial Arts are pretty useless in a real street fight ...... they make you fitter and increase stamina but you aint gonna be turning into Rambo ..... :(you obviously have not developed the mental capacity that comes with training martial arts. i find my training and practice highly functional in street fights, perhaps people who practice the McMartial arts, such as karate and TKD, are useless in a fight.

I scream "HIIIIIYAAAH!" in bar bathrooms every now and then.is this while looking in the mirror and flexing your muscles before either A) going out to hit on a girl, or b) going out to hit on the girls boyfriend?

Now i'm a .38 special black belt. :jamn:well they say people who need guns are pussies who cannot fight and a gun is only as fast and accurate as the person using it. shit, a .38 is for girls anyhow... do you practice shooting your jars of vasoline? :2fu:

ne ways ive been looking into maui thai and i possibly want to train in aikido so when i can use theyre body weight to get them away i can bash theyre fucking brains out with maui thai, or i wanna use stick fighitng i already know lots about that and im fairly fast and accurate with a stick. id like to train with swords..

and TKD is useless so it the shit karate they try to teach youu over by my pace for 300$ a month. I hear tai chi is good but im not one for meditation and that.

theres one play that offer hapkido kickbocing karate tia kwondo kickboxing ect im gonna go there for the kickboxing ect.

Boxing is cool and it does have its place, but i gota agree with Uki,not much you can do with broken bones.Acouple of quick submissions where your arms are torked to the point of breaking,or with certain pressure points, that immobilize entire limbs,i dont think most boxers stand a chance against that stuff.
Sure he could get a few good shots in,but hed find real quick that he only has one way to fight, where as the martial artist, has many ways, with many counters and defences against just punches.

actually ninjistu is the art of stealth and deception... nothing to do with actual hand to hand combat; western media and culture has fliptwisted ninjistu into some sort of superhuman martial art form, when in reality it is merely an adjective for any style of martial art.
