A "rant" forum?

I was thinking maybe we could add a "Rant" section under the "Laid Back Discussion" area?

You know maybe you want to:
-Tell everyone how you feel about your ex!
-Spout about a idiot celeb!
-Yell about someone in politics!
-Blab about your Aunt Bettys secret "weed" cookies!
-Complain about your horrid rash on your.....errr... ok maybe not your rash.

I know this could kind of just stay in the "Off-Topic" area but I think it would be a great place for people to just say whatever (to some extent) and know that if they go there its the "Rant Section".

Unfortunately there won't be a section where people can rant, swear, and go crazy. Remember this is a site for ages 13 and up. It just wouldn't be appropriate. Off-topic is designed for people to discuss anything they want, but the rules on appropriate behavior apply everywhere.

Laz is right.... we have off-topic. Besides almost ALL of assassins posts are rants about how somebody is knowcking christianity.

Well it was an idea, I just noticed more sites are adding one. Although not for the purpose of swearing...etc.

Stuff like I mentioned above. And not for my topics, thats what the religion section is for. :crazy:

More sites are just now adding such forums, but we've had the Off-Topic forum for 5 years easily. Just because it's not called "Rant" doesn't mean that's not what happens.

You know if there are posts that make you unhappy and think they should be moderated you can report them on the report bad post button.

If you want to rant go to Nadine's Bitch Pillow. I think someone actually made a real website out of it or something but if I remember it was some kind of EZBoard site or something? EW and MD would remember best and if it's the correct site I'm thinking of, there's some really stellar material in the archives from the above mentioned AO'ers for the wannabes among us.:crtmn:
