What if?

Thats the question i ask myself,with the way things are going in the UK on crime.I know that this subject has been covered before,but gun crime is back in the news,only this time an officer got shot,whilst dealing with some youths about a small motorcycle.Last night i had to stay up as some youths were hanging about outside my house at about 2 am and you know what?.They are all known to the police and yet still causing hassle where is the justice.I did call the cops but no show as they were not breaking the law.Ok so its alright then to have been warned and just able to carry on, as our friends house was recently targeted with a smashed window.she is away quite a lot so we keep an eye on her house,and yet last night the youths were suspiciously hanging around and going near her house.When they saw me then went back into their friends house and switched the light off.If thats not suspicious behaviour then i dont know what is.I do have a CCTV and have had trouble from the same youths,the tenants who live there have had warnings but to no avail obviously.

Crime pays !

The legal system has been setup to keep lawyers and judges in work and the police love regular customers as it keeps them in overtime.

Did you know that 50% of policemen retire by the age of 50 on medical grounds.

As a glazier I love seeing broken windows and when work gets slow I can always break a few myself.

Why would the state not trust a 50 year old man wh o has never broken the law to have a gun at home to protect himself ? could it be the state needs to disarm the public if they want to keep forcing draconian laws onto the general public.

this probably only get worse as time goes by. for example, i had a guy living at our house and working for me, he stole my one ton pickup because i had lent it to him to go to walmart, he also stole my checkbooks and wrote hot checks all over oklahoma and arkansas. the police wouldn't even flag his commercial license. they said i couldn't prove he stole either. i gave him the keys to use the truck and only he had access to the house. they said it could have been a friend of his - what a load of crap. i informed them he was on videotape at one of the stores and they wouldn't even go after the tape. they said they could only charge him with posession of stolen property IF they caught it on him or in his posession. i had to go to arkansas and get my truck when it was finally found. the man is on probation and listed as absconded and they are not even actively looking for him. the justice system sucks--it is all for the criminal and none for the victim. which is why your friends window was smashed and they didn't come when you called. i can see pretty soon in the future that vigilante justice will probably become the norm. but it will be illegal and covert. however if i see it i will turn my head and say nothing.
