Thats a vid of my fathers steam car he built. Based on a Stanley Automobile of 1902. Just thought it be a nice lil thing 4 those who r bored stiff. (Im BN-MMVII) Id advice u to have your speakers on as it adds to the effect and hilarity of it not working half way thru!

LOL, Man thats great. My Grandfather if he were still alive would have loved that.
In the 40's and 50's he had an Edsel dealership, and later a auto repair shop. he built all kinds of old stuff, but nothing that old. Guess you really have to know what your doing with that old thing, lol. being consumed by steam would suck.
What a great hobby you and your dad have. Very cool skynet!:2thumbs:

Thanks, man-
cars of the same type were doing over 200mph in 1904. Its amazing how powerful an old steam generator can be! (Howvere expensive to run!) Weve had 3 traction engines before now, but deided 4 a change!

Happy thread. Skynet! My Dad would love to hear from your Dad (send me a pm) - my Dad loves steam engines, and he also has a 1932 MG - she runs beautifully - he bought it for a few thousand as a wreck, and he has restored it to as good as new. It is hair-raisingly fun to go 'racing' down the hill into the countryside into the distance... Best experience is to be had with babe in the passenger seat!
