Forgive me for the sneering thread title, just wanted to catch people's attention. Of course the title isn't true at all, their are many levels of human intelligence (and ignorance) and they transcend all walks of life! People come to find 'faith' in different ways: Some are raised to believe certain conditions about existence, others alter theirs as a result of experiences in life, some cling to it when nearing death, etc. And how much people allow that faith(or lack there of) to dictate their actions, interactions, and interests is another oscillating factor (again, just getting the obvious out of the way). I pose this question to apply to one when they look up at the sky, alone, on an icy winter's night: Is there perhaps something 'different' (realllllly wanted to find a better, more positive/complementary word) about a mind which accepts current science and comfortably extrapolates the fact that we are alone with our own existence and when we perish we cease to be?
