I do find the events surrounding the building of the Georgia Guidestones suspicious, it's hard not to, considering nobody knows who actually commissioned them. Conspiracy theorists, however, give far too much importance to the first guide "Maintain humanity under 500,000,000". When all the guides are taken into consideration the message is to live in peace and harmony with each other and nature, which is hard to do when most of the world's population is squashed into urban environments. There is nothing on the guides to suggest some kind of orchestrated apocalypse. Futhermore, the elite don't really have anything to gain by creating a new world order, as they are already doing pretty well for themselves. I'll admit the idea is intriguing and dreadfully insidious, but it's hard not to be skeptical. Whatever the case, it can be fun to speculate. That's why I enjoyed the webseries "Guidestones" and it's interpretation. If you like a good conspiracy, you should check it out.
