  1. Poll Sticky Thread Sticky: Poll: Abortion

I'm just wondering how everybody feels about abortion. Me, I think abortion is wrong. I watched an ultrasound of an abortion, and it was just terrible. It seemed like the baby was trying to get away and the baby's heartrate doubled. I'm not going to stone somebody for getting an abortion because I realise that it's a hard decision to make. I just don't think its the right decision to make. But hey, I'm not the one who's pregnant I guess. Although, I think the father should have some sort of say in it. The child is a part of him too.

  1. Teen violence. *@#%! up media!

There was a story on on, some show, whatever it was. It was about teen violence amongst couples. At first I laughed my ass off as they said "Teens today are more violent then they ever were before!" No shit? I've been saying that forever! Then of course they did the typical junk "...because of things like videogames..." and they pointed out games such as Grand Theft Auto and used it as a reason why teens (more so boys) beat their girlfriends. Then the babbled on how this mother who lost a daughter to teen violence teaches kids how to identify teen violence. WTF? Are americans just this fucking stupid or what? Don't any of these morons think to themsevles "I wonder what causes this violence?" or "How can we even stop it from forming?". The answer PARENTS! For instance games. We all know full well most teens don't go kill someone because they play a game. Regardless the question should be WHY is your teen even playing a M rated game in the first place? Next objective... get parents PARENTING CLASSES!...

  2. Prison Reform

As we have seen here on the boards there are supporters of the death penalty and those who vehemently object to it. We can all agree it isn't a perfect system, but what then is a better solution? I think it comes down to the need for some improvement. We have a necessity for prison reform. Now, my questions are: What are some things that should be implemented to deter people from becoming criminals? How can we better rehabilitate those who chose to commit crimes and how do we establish who qualifies to be rehabilitated? What should be in place for those violent offenders who cannot be released to society, especially those who have committed heinous crimes (defined by me as torture, homicide, pedophilia and rape with no signs of remorse)?

  4. Public Deathmatch TV? Yes or no?

I discussed this long ago. Not sure if it was here. Years ago when the popular game came out "Unreal Tournament" and its basic storyline was greedy corporations showed live deathmatchs on tv I asked if people thought that would ever happen. This was in the early 90s I believe. People then thought that was absurd. Now in 2009 I see much has changed. We watch more violent things, are minds are more corrupt. We in general seem more fucked up as a planet and money is still as greedy as it ever was and man still will do what he can to make money off of the masses. I still say and bet everything I have that one day in the future there will be deathmatches. Maybe not on tv at first. But eventually they will be and it will become the new sport of sports. Just like deathraces and so on. Think about it as we grow more corrupt in our minds we want to see this (even if we don't think we do) we still look anyways at times. Its a major money maker because its draws off of humans instinct to want to see whats...

  7. Human Rights

A few days ago, in a political science class, the professor asks the class where we think moral rights (such as free speech, life, etc) come from. One girl said "From the government." She went on to say that we in America have the right to free speech but people born in North Korea were born without that right because they live in a country where free speech is not allowed. The professor polled the class and HALF OF THE CLASS thought this was true (I was like, 'You guys fail! Leave America immediately!') while the other half of us believed that rights are innate and inalienable a la John Locke. What do you guys think? Where are rights derived from? And why do you believe that? I believe that human rights come from our nature, our sentience (consciousness) as human beings. I think that this is the only view that makes sense because if rights are derived from govt, the govt can rescind them at any time and you really don't have rights at all.

  8. Existence lie

You're not told why you're here because of an existence lie. You come here to lie to yourself for the time being till out of a corrupt body not actually your's for the keeping. Know what I'm saying? For now your own existence lies to you by you the father of its sow. Each person is their own father of lies here for the time being. Once out then you'll know you fully again. Then you'll know why you exist again and how you exist again. But you will not know you've been anytime away from the full you once out. Each person is just here getting a reading on trash they are not, though wicked wise it for the time being. Hardcore is a person able to be things they are not. So put the good into vessels, but throw the trash away. That's how it is at the end of your time being in this place. Again, get what I'm saying? Your existence can only lie to you so much until you begin to see that this trash is not your true source. For trash can not and will not be you.

They say the victims were innocent but I would rather say the executors of the death penalty failed to see the relation between the murderer and the victims. Reality check: What is the significance of such event and what would be the lesson from it? It is a moral lesson that teaches the individual what the majority allows what not: Be good and the majority will tap your shoulder saying “God Boy”, give you sugar bar and bet few dollars on you-winning-the-race; Be bad and you shall suffer if not die. 11. Poll Poll: Is there anything wrong with...

...people being the more deadly and the most dangerous beings on a planet? Notes to review first: 1. People kill way more for food and clothing than any other animal. 2. "People" houses murderers which no other animal houses. Or, is that what it has to stay meaning naturally being "people?" As in, there isn't anything so wrong with people being the more deadly and the most dangeous beings on a planet?

  12. I liked this one

Paul Harvey says: "I don't believe in Santa Claus, but I'm not going to sue somebody for singing a Ho-Ho-Ho song in December. I don't agree with Darwin, but I didn't go out and hire a lawyer when my high school teacher taught his theory of evolution. Life, liberty or your pursuit of happiness will not be endangered because someone says a 30-second prayer before a football game. So what's the big deal? It's not like somebody is up there reading the entire book of Acts. They're just talking to a God they believe in and asking Him to grant safety to the players on the field and the fans going home from the game.

  13. The Monsters we Make

The Monsters we make. The United States made most of it's enemy's who they are today. Our biggest is still out there. And we made it who it is. Had we stayed out of the way China might have went the way of the U.S.S.R. Now we have Russia looking at China as a model of government. Communism ? Kind of. "In truth, the Russians express no desire to return to Communism as a far-reaching Marxist-Leninist ideology, whether the Soviet version or the much attenuated one in Beijing. What they admire, it seems, is the Chinese ability to use a one-party system to keep tight control over the country while still driving significant economic growth. 15. The faggot is man's best friend

Yes... that is true.... i'm sorry to hurt your feelings if you're a dog, or a puppy, but fags are actually better than you. Besides getting along with women really great, especially with the young ones, they also mean less competition for us, real men. Think about it, you could actually use a fag to "gather intelligence", then have a clear path all the way to the princess' heart. :spy:

  16. Single Body of Lies

The physical body is the greatest liar of all time. You dont know, whether or not, a person is even an alive individual or a live figure operating inner a physical body or a non-alive nor live thing running as if on its own by an intelligent program configured ages ago by, say, a higher power or an alien race figure. So what's in a drink? Rather what's in a body these days? The answer is you know not exact since you can not detect what a standing and working body holds inner or underneath the surface. Even an intelligent CPU can act as if it can see you, though it is BLIND since it takes an alive thing to see (read whatever is before it in more than one way). Any one else SEE what I mean? Or is it just me, myself, and I standing alone inside while next to who knows who or who not? :spy: So let that be one's philosophy in life or in life freely. By the way, trick or treat is what the body (a body of lies) does.

Ok, so we have talk about sex, and favorite sexual things to do, but what about fantasies. What is your fantasy whether is be simply sensual, erotic, romantic or just hard core sexual? So this in not one people would OMG about, but here is one of my I guess sensual. I am a very sensual person in respect to how my environment effects me. I think the movie this triggered from was American Beauty. I want like thousands of rose petals all over my bed so that I am literally emerged in them, of course fully nude. Just the softness and the smell completely overtaking me. I think in the movie she was submerged in a bath of rose petals.

  20. Poll Poll: Being Overly Nice to Handicapped People

There is a blind girl that rides the shuttle to the University every morning. She obviously always sits in one of the front seats. However, when she gets on, the person she is next to suddenly becomes her best friend, and they chat away wildly. Everyone goes out of their way to be friendly with her. When she ISN'T there, hardly a word is spoken. But when she gets on the bus, everyone wants to talk to her, very informal, even people who don't know her that well. It seems quite obvious to me that these people pity her, or sympathize, and because of it they are pretending to be her friend. Pretending? Maybe not, but they certainly wouldn't have anything to do with her if she was blind. Is this sort of thing right?
