  3. Sticky Thread Sticky: Predictions 2012

Well it's that time of year again. Time to start our predictions for the next year as we quickly approach the end of the current year. My predictions: 1. The supreme court will hear and decide on Proposition 8. 2. The economy will get much worse. 3. OWS protests will disappear after the government takes a more Stalinistic approach to things. 4. Obama wins re-elction. 5. A major natural disaster will occur in the western hemisphere. I'm talking on the scale of the Tsunami this year. 6. Quietly, some Americans will start disappearing. Especially those who supported the OWS movement.

  2. Poll Poll: Earthquake in MO/The New Madrid Fault

There was a minor quake in MO. I have been seeing a lot of activity along the New Madrid Fault in the past couple of months. There have been as many as 5 notifications at a time in the past couple of months. Is the fault warming up for a major one? :amaz: :52: USGS reviewed solution. A minor earthquake occurred at 2:59:42 PM (CDT) on Wednesday, May 18, 2005 . The magnitude 3.3 event occurred 16 km (10 miles) S of 28 Blairstown, MO. The hypocentral depth is 5 km ( 3 miles).

  7. Mud Slides! (California). . . .

. . .As I post this, this is an ongoing story in Ventura County, "La Conchita" California. Authourities hours ago were attempting to evacuate some 200 residents from the closed community, when a "Wall of mud" (by the description of one reporter) came roaring off of the mountain and wiped-out at least 4 homes, trapped 12 vehicles, and has taken a number of lives. As this is a breaking story, you may not be able to 'google' much @ this early hour, turn to your ABC/NBC/CBS major network for early details to this story. Will post more as news becomes available. - - -Submitted by Joe (Bigsky770)

  8. New, Emerging Virus Pandemics!

Now that the WHO and similar national agencies are in China we are now finding out that the SARS virus is far more threatening than we were led to believe. Originally China reported the fatality rate at around 4%. We’re now seeing that the actual rate is higher than 25%. It has also been reported that the Chinese government has been putting patients in their military hospitals so that reporters and others can’t see them in order to keep the perceived/reported number of patients much lower than it actually is. And now today we see that 9 individuals in Hong Kong alone have died of SARS in ONE DAY with 2 of them being younger patients (30’s & 40’s) with no previous respiratory problems. This raises the question of its virulence and ability to kill healthy individuals. I had a professor in college who had previously worked for the Centers for Disease Control or CDC (sort of like the USA version of the WHO). He said that one of their most feared scenarios had its beginnings in Eastern China and...

  9. Question Need for a New World Order?

Need for a New World Order? Part#1: The Alpha of Eden mad- www.nwowatcher.com 4-14-05 Let's face it. The world is a corrupt place and it always has been since man first learned that it was sometimes easier to stab a person in the back, then it is to meet them face to face in battle. From the clerk at the liquor store who cheats you out of a dollar, to the police officer who maces an innocent person, all the way up to our 'elected' officials, and even our Presidents, who have more of an allegiance to money and power then to the American people of whom they are supposed to represent. Anyplace where even a tiny sliver, an iota, a fraction of power and authority is found, there you will see corrupt people eagerly gathered like hungry jackals. Waiting for just the right moment to take advantage of the situation, lining their own greedy pockets, and making the connections that will ensure their personal prosperity. It doesn't even have to always involve money, sometimes in can be just the sheer sick...

  10. Cyber terrorism/Possible future Computer Crash

Say in the near future, 50-150 years from now, everything is connected by computers. Cars don't move without directions from a central computer source. Electrical power, and everything else that requires a power source, all ran by computers. The human race has been dumbed down by the over reliance of technology. Tasks that we can now do with or without technology may have been forgotten. Do to an accident or sabotage, the central/core computer systems shuts down or simply fails. Mankind finds himself in a self imposed stone age without the skill to survive. Sounds crazy? Many people now live in areas that could not provide them with adequate food either through hunting or agriculture (I live in a desert). Most people don't know how to hunt even if they lived in an area with that option. It wouldn't take long before the survival instinct took over, and the have-nots beset upon the haves. Is this a possible scenario? Does a softer less skilled mankind have what it takes to survive in a...

  11. living with super volcanoes

challenging super volcanoes threat Scientists seem to say that nothing can be done against a super volcano in its move to erupt or blast. Well, perhaps today. But tomorrow (soon) ? Think about sciences applications development since WWII - just 60 years over : it's fabulous ! Scientists say it woul'nd be useful - if it was possible - to drill holes into the magma chamber to release the pressure... But, are there no many ways of drilling into that chamber that the US most experienced oil industry could practice ? Indeed, oil is generally a gluing stuff encapsulated in rocks and mud. Of course, not to compare to a magma at about 1500° Celsius ! - But, the oil industry has succeeded to invent and develop ways to suck out oil from the deep

  12. Yellowstone Park - seek a solution?

If the Yellowstone Park caldera is in danger of erupting at any time now, wouldn't it be a good idea if research could be started into a solution, such as drilling deep and attempting to bleed of the magma gradually? I realise that this is probably way beyond our technology at the moment, but surely doing something is better than doing nothing and simply waiting for it to happen, as it seems such an eruption would virtually wipe out all life on the planet.

  14. The Four Horsemen are riding

The dragon which flies out from the sea - comes from the land of broken canes. The dark lord of horses is the fallen angel who rides his metal horse through the dark and empty street. The antichrist is he who appoints the dragon and holds power over it. The antichrist is found in the stinging nettles of the thicket. The green flower of the open plain is his accomplice in destruction. These are the four horsemen of the apocalypse and they are riding. The word roots of names and places are very important.

Tomorrow is Cinco De Mayo! ;) A crazed friend of mine is reading the satanic bible (a cheesy, small version of it) and he told me tomorrow the planets will allign and blow up. I doubt it severly. But I told him "Well Mr. Satanist, what about 6.6.6?" he shrugged. I don't think anything will happen, how about ya'll?

  16. Armageddon Prophecy

The Past: A seven headed dragon rises out of the sea. It is struck down and rises again. The space shuttle flies out from Cape Canaveral with seven astronauts and twice it is destroyed. The Future: On July 4th the Deep Impact mission led by Michael AHearn will crash a copper bullet into the heart of the Tempel comet. Consider the name Michael alludes to a fallen angel. The name AHearn means, lord of the horses. He works under Mike Griffin, the griffin is a dragon. The dragon was appointed by the antichrist who keeps the horses and tramples in the stinging nettles of the thicket, a walker in the bush. Consider Saint George slays the dragon and see the first name of the antichrist is the last name of he that slays the dragon.

  17. The 21st or the 23rd?

After feeding my curiosity about the end of the Mayan Calendar, I found out that most sites said it was (As We all know, December) 21st (2012). But the sites that say the 23rd (the day before christ's birth) is the true date, as exaplained by other Mayan translators. I don't belive the world will end, or if it doesn, not too soon... but, Which date do you think sounds correct? I think it would be interesting if it turned out to be the 24th, but the 23rd sounds more appropiate then the 21st. I dunno, the whole mayan calendar thing fasinates me!

Since 9/11 the world has become more afraid of terrorists than ever and there's all these rows about the anti-terror law etc. Also that guy (Abu Quatata, dunno his surname) was granted bail and he is one of the world's most dangerous terrorists. 9/11 killing 3000 odd people, when will the next one be and what. Will they again use planes as missiles, use more destructive bombs (nukes, a dirty bomb) or........ You dicide! PS. A dirty bomb is one which contains loads of chemicals and wastes that can infect you with them.
