Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery... remember that before you flame me for this. This board has some very colorful characters.... messiahs, prophets, militants, and everything in between. I thought it would be fun to post pics of how I think some of you look based on avatar, sig, location, and/or general style. Please add your own, but this is not meant to be insulting or mean spirited... just having some fun with the people I read from everyday! old dragon

  8. Sticky Thread Sticky: AO New Words Dictionary

I loved this idea and since I also like to make up words (but naturally can't think of one atm) I thought I'd kick it off. Add your own as you come across them. :-) From Freaked Out: Turnoffable: (Noun) meaning: The ability of a thing or person to be turned off. Applications in technical terminalology as well as blind dates. (turnoffablish: pertaining to or ability to be turned off - largely a female trait) Turnoffabling: (Verb) meaning: The process of making an thing or person to be turned off. Uses in technical terminalogy....and blind dates. (Except I'm not so sure "turnoffable" would be a noun? The ability to be turned off, or to turn others off... well maybe that is a noun... hmmm.... state of being... yeah OK) From Mez:

  9. Sticky Thread Sticky: AO Photo Gallery

I removed the original thread because it was just a mesh of photos of inanimate objects and places. This new version is a little more strict, but is based off the original thread. Give a new dimension to AO by sharing photos of yourself and/or family. Please do not enter photos that are of places/sites or objects. Only pictures of yourself and/or family (family is optional). Here are some of mine to start off with.

  2. Nostradamus Earth Effect - Soon To Be Seen

PREFACE Every Nostradamus Lost Plate surrounds a very narrow period of time namely the events surrounding the "Galactic Alignment, leading to the Cosmic Shift and its Completion". I will be speaking with the full degree of trust for all nations, and specifically those of you facing ascension. To bring some of you up to speed, and I am only including a link, http://lostbookofnostradamus.files.wordpress.com/2010/10/ssh-plate_68-web.jpg, Nostradamus Lost Plate 68 captures the essence of when the Cosmic Shift Begins, that is relative to the Galactic Alignment, at the appearance of a Comet with a long tail like a sword that shoots up in the sky, we know exactly when the Cosmic Shift will begin, at Comet ISON's long tail appearance. If we can know this, as a case in point fact, then we can know the following details: this brings us to our following discussion below. Peter The Roman's Awakening (Lost Plate 77 on top, Lost Plate 76 on bottom) We are given a full argument of when "Peter the Roman" will...

  3. Poll Poll: Is Fish Meat?

Ok, Ash Wednesday, Catholics can't eat meat. Yet a friend of mine who is Catholic, upon saying this, ordered all you can eat fish. Blew my mind. Got in to a violent argument over it. She claimed I was questioning her faith. I told her she was a fucking idiot for thinking fish isn't a meat. It isn't a fruit or Veggie, or Dairy, or Grain. It is a fucking meat. So AO Poll time.

  4. Movie/Television Villains Who Were RIGHT!(Or at least not Evil)

Ok I'm doing this because of 2012 but here are others... Number 5 The Pro Registration Heroes/Politicians In Marvel Civil War Uh, Magneto and Wolverine have the same thought "Last time I/some one I knew got registered by the government I never saw them again." One slight difference... The Jews couldn't blow up half of Stamford because they had heartburn. They couldn't assassinate the PM or President of a country simply by thinking of it. It might be a good idea to keep these people/mutants/greek gods under control. If some one can kill you because they sneezed too hard maybe we should know who they are? Especially like the Young Avengers, teenagers, who have these powers? Maybe Miss Exterminate All Life If She Blinks should not just be known but also be trained to use her powers? Was SHIELD wrong the way they carried it out? Oh hell yeah but was the law the right thing to have? YES! The comics/book make the war out to be the Pro Freedom(There is a reason Captain America was their leader)...

  5. Was 2012 the Greatest Year Ever?

The movies, the books, and hell even music all surrounding the 2012 End of the World. How many DOZENS of movies, big production and small indie films, were produced? How many billions was funneled in to one event? Television shows produced about "End of the World" scenarios like Revolution and so forth all because of the 2012 hype? Even if it never mentions it you know every single person screaming about 2012 End of the World had to influence every one of these shows. Hell even Dexter had a serial killer going on about the End of the World. When has any other single event produced such a response? 9/11? And on top of that it wasn't a real thing. It didn't happen. 2012 didn't end the world or any thing. And yet how many billions in movies and television and books was pumped in to the world economy over it? Anyways, just had this thought pop in to my head as I watch 2012 after watching The Day After Tomorrow. Also, why is the one guy considered a dick for not wanting to save his 89 year old...

  7. Farting in the workplace.

Forgive me. Not for passing gas, as ladies don't do that unless they are in a restroom out of earshot from others. Forgive me for posting a tasteless story, but on the other hand, maybe it's high time something was done about overly farty people in the workplace? Basically, Smoking Gun has the story of a federal employee (don't think they go into what branch) who has been officially reprimanded, and thus might be in danger of losing his job if he doesn't deal with his issue, because he farts constantly in the workplace. The charges against him are listed with a date and time. After several talks with supervisors about the problem and all, :Llol:

  8. Clutches

I've recently invested in a new clutch and I want it to last as long as possible. Is this to suggest you do not want to ease the clutch when shifting gears in order to avoid the lurch if you don't? Really? It seems like it ought to be opposite. When it comes to the happy, well-lived life of a clutch, is it better to lurch than to ease?

  9. Journey of the Faiths

PREFACE This will ultimately be a different kind of study of more exotic and fictional sci-fi novels, and there is a greater degree of time I estimate before the arguments can really be represented. Not sure how much of the roughly 350 novels I will attempt to read or go through but this is just a footnote for this discussion, I will probably edit gradually and some time from now. Moving forward towards the translation of mankind and the ascension into the new universe, we have the anticipation of Comet ISON, a marker for the promise of the law of NEWLIFE. The universe has been very generous in providing us signs, that correspond to our proximity to the end. The "Lady of Fatima 'Cloud Angel' over Florida", now recently the eruption of "Mount Etna", not to mention the fact that. I've recently been back on board the mothership of the aliens, who have been diligently observing and receiving the law of NEWLIFE I designed with the intention of administering the promise. It is designed to furnish the...

  11. Kill trucks- what other name to call them?

Can anybody help me here? I'm writing an article for a meat cutter and they have a mobile "kill truck", as he refers to it, which will go to local farms and what-have-you, like a mobile slaughter house. I am trying to think of another word for "kill truck" so I don't have to say it like 5 times in the article. Anybody know if there is another name for them, or for this service? Googling hasn't helped me so far. Or maybe "kill truck" is okay, I really don't know if that is just slaughterhouse/meat processing speak that is perfectly acceptable and understandable to use (because facts are facts) or if I should try to make it more... palatable for readers who might not dig that sort of thing. he's a good guy making an honest living, also a rodeo guy, not one to mince words... so maybe I ought to just let it be like he speaks it. I was thinking, though, for quoting him directly it would be "kill truck" but if I refer to it later, I could refer to it as something less... kill-y sounding? :monkey:

  18. Mayan Calendar Ends in 2013 (Prime Number Study)

PREFACE I talked a little about the extra year that the Aztec/Mayan Calendar describes in the thread titled Channelers Review Corner 12212012 and After previously. This time we will discuss the proof that the Aztecs were aware of this extra year, and designed their activities around this extra year literally. There is also an ongoing "Prime Number" relationship that extends through the Mayan Calendar, and the period surrounding the Cosmic Shift. Outside of it he is still hot but not as hot as when he is Jack. Er, Captain Jack. Robert Downey Jr! He can be my Iron Man any day! Yummy. Richard Gear. I know he's old but he is so distinguished. I'm thinking of getting a Ferret pup ( white female) this spring, I've been reading tons of info regarding this fantastic animal, incredible stuff. Granted a pain in the ass when starting out ( 10 weeks old) with all the work involved...( yes I know..lol) but I think the effort is worth the time. I was wondering if anyone here has had some experience with this wonderful creature.
