This is the newest book by J.K Rowling. I heard bad stuff about but figured I should give it a chance. I am kinda on the fence about that choice. She just uses curse words to use them. Every character uses them and for little to no reason. And none of them are... Get behindable. You can't root for this one or that one. Also there are dozens, and not just backround but you are put in the perspective of them. Let me think at the top of my head... I can think of at least 19 you read as off the top of my head. So you get a little lost trying to remember who you are at the moment and who is with who/son of/dating/school/whatever since there are so many and it jumps around a lot. Am I reading as this character or that character? Oh I was as that character but in this sentence now I'm not. But I did read it through as it hooked me I had to know what happened. So it has that going for it...

Creator of the character Slippery Jim DeGriz AKA the Stainless Steel Rat. Also wrote the Death world series, Bill the galactic hero, and the novel Make room make room which is the basis for the film Soylent green. I have read the Stainless Steel Rat books several times over. Funny exciting books. Curious if anyone else even knows who he was?

Does any one on here read Fan Fiction? Fan Fiction are stories written by anyone but the original author. Harry Potter has a huge following, with one series recognized by JK Rowling. I've tried too write it but it is never very good. I am however a Muse for an FF writer who has written over a million words for just the Code Lyoko FF on a website. He also does Daria, HP, and Lazy Town. But of course some writers like Nora Roberts has asked people not too do it but others, like JK Rowling, encourages it.

For those of you who are too stoned/lazy to read it for yourself. Thought provoking book. Writen in 1948, Orwell predicts what society will be like in the future. Without a doubt, the two greatest novels I have ever read. Mind-blowingly good. Fantastic characters, astounding story, and incredible knowledge of technology. Seperate books, but parts one and two in a story of a technological revolution. Get Daemon and I guarentee you'll end up getting Freedom. Fantastic.

I seen this book in the supermarket about a week ago. I picked it up to see what it was about. It immediately reminded me of a woman friend of mine, with whom I had a falling out with little over a year ago. I bought it, and planned on reading it. I don't know how many days passed, but it wasn't many, I received an email from this woman. About a week earlier my email was hacked into and spam messages were sent out. One was sent to her, I didn't realize that she was in my contact list still. She replied to the email and we started talking again. I thought about how the book made me think of her, so I ordered a copy and sent it to her. I read the book today, and wow. If you truly desire something, the universe will conspire to make it happen.
