  3. Armageddon Songs!

Ok everyone! Get on your thinking caps for this one! This thread is for any songs that have the word "armageddon" in them, or, songs that reference armageddon in some way. Include the title of the song, the artist who performs it and the lyrics sentence that includes said word or phrase relating to "armageddon"(IOW, don't post the whole song). (Yeah, as I'm listening to Pink Floyds "Run Like Hell" on a loop, that song get's me creative, or horny, sometimes both) I'll get us started... 14. The Blues

I love the old blues. Happy blues or sad blues, blues is a style more than a mood. Hadn't listened to my Blues collection in a long time, but Friday I had an appointment, and the lady I was speaking with had Billie Holliday playing in the background. She was surprised I recognized the music. :) She told me that after two failed marriages and a series of unsuccessful love affairs, she has given up on relationships and now gets more pleasure just listening to Holliday. I've been a fan of Billie Holliday ever since seeing a film based on a book I had read about her life, Lady Sings the Blues. So I'm starting off here with Billie Holliday. Love her sound. If a beautiful, life-weary cat could sing expressively, she would sing like Billie Holiday. But Billie didn't just sing, she emoted from the depths of her broken heart. This is Strange Fruit- a very dark lament. Lady Sings the Blues
