Hey everyone.... I'm sorry if I sound whiny before hand, but I'm going through a really tough time right now. For the past 12 years or so, my grandmother was diagnosed with diabetes. She went through open heart surgery. She went through having part of her leg cut off below her knee. She had water building up in her lungs and more heart trouble and had to get her lungs drained. she is also dealing with dialysis due to weak kidneys and is confined to a wheel chair. She is very weak and lost her independence. someone always had to babysit her, even if she wanted to do things herself. She had suffered endlessly, was stuck in a rehab home to get stronger from her last heart attack. For a short period of time, my prayers were answered that she was strong enough to come home again, but now she's in the hospital AGAIN having more of her leg cut off up to her thigh. She was in so much pain before she went through the surgery that she was crying and it takes a lot for her to cry. And now she's trying to rest...

I was wondering what acts of evil the devil is documented committing in the Bible? I can think of the forbidden fruit, the torture of Lot, and the temptation of Christ but would appreciate if someone with knowledge could list them and the verses they come from. Thanks

im a christian and i believe in God and christ and the teachings of the bible, there are a lot of questions that arise when reading the bible,one of my questions would be why doesnt the bible ever mention dinosaures?youd think if there were these huge lizards running around, the bible might have at least one mention? we know they existed we have proof,but nothing to indicate in the bible that they ever existed.:dunno:

I was wondering what Some religions views are on the existence of Aliens and Dinosaurs. Mainly any christian based religion. I did an article on Aliens and Dinosaurs in a biblical discussion class one time. The topic for the project was "Clarity" It was the first project and the first day of the class, i am not a believer myself, however i was very excited to be learning about something that too me was "new" and "extensive" i was looking forward to moderated discussions about various beliefs and explanations of such beliefs within the context of christian religions, something i understood very little of, but wanted to know more about because i was in search at that adolescent point in my life for answers. Anyways, the topic "Clarity" meant we were to find subjects not mentioned in the bible and try to understand them from a biblical point of view. ok 1st post from me peeps so hello. My first post is in someway the thing that most scares me and and the same time most fills me with hope. I believe in heaven, i have lost loved ones and I NEED to believe i will be with them again. So if heaven exists how do I get there. Well i come from a catholic background. Never really went to church on sunday but always had a very good sense of what was spiritually right and wrong. Like the darkside and the lightside of the force. A points system if you will. ie help an old lady across the road +1 good point. Laugh at a fat kid -1 bad point, etc etc. So over your general lifetime we all amass points, be them good or bad and at the end if we're in the positive side, heaven awaits. points more in the negative and hellfire on toast for an eternity.
