I've never seen a Google search of an active site reveal searchable material, but no current cache or the ability to connect through this search engine. What's going on here? Have you blocked searches through Google?

I wanted to post a comment on the thread where Laz was telling us about the reputation situation and this is what I got Is this a one off situation or am I going to go through the same process I am finding on other places on the net where my voice is to be silenced through dirty tricks and underhand dealings. I mean come on, the first day back as Admin and this is what I am confronted with? And you wonder why I bitched!

I was devastated. It was like my identity was stolen from me... like my very soul was savagely raped with a California Redwood... Luckily my mad hacking skillz were able to find a replacement (er, mad google skills- I found an image for THIS website when searching "Cartesiantheater," but when I clicked on it, there was a 404 error. I saved the preview image anyway and now have my old avatar. Might be a bit smaller though.)

I just noticed this as I tried to move something to off topic. The option to move threads is no longer there in the drop down for thread tools. Is there a new way of doing it? Or, do we have to ask to have it moved should we inadvertently post in the incorrect forum sub section? :dunno:

Did the arcade get nuked or is it on hold for awhile? I can't seem to navigate there anymore. No button for it.

I am not sure if this is happening to everyone else but for me AO is taking a few minutes to load per page.... Super slow.... Even now the little thing is still spinning. Bad ads or new code or something else completely? Also, I'd recommend killing the auto save function... unless everyone else loves it... I see it as useless bloat or annoying popup at best..

They're slow to load AND they keep causing the page to move back and forth.

Under the button search....next to quick links Hit search.. Then google custom search something...anything... Let me know how your results went...

I have allowed in my profile options only people on my "friends" and contacts list to contact me via private message. Recently however, an AO member not on these lists has sent a number of private messages to me. I would appreciate an explanation about why this is, why it was allowed, and whether or not my account actually is configured for messages only on the lists that I have authorized. Thanks very much. ::):
