You really didn't expect this sort of thing? Of course the government is going to build things like that, I've known for years things like that where in the works. Wouldn't surprise me if every government was working on one of there own.

Well this adds a whole nother meaning to being bugged..

If you see them, can't you just swat and destroy them and say later that you thought it was a real bug, or would they get you for destruction of govt. property?

And on another note, I did see a show on one of the cable channels last year sometime about how they are training living insects to detect traces of bio/chem weapons in the air, by having them be attracted to what makes them poisonous, and then gathering around that area.

Well, we use in warfare dogs and dolphins, and have used pigeons and hawks in the past, so insect use would just be another version of that..

But to make one mechanically like that??? I say go out of your way to destroy them wherever you see them, after all, how are you to know that they come from this govt, and not another one, right?
