NEW YORK - American men still don't pull their weight when it comes to housework and child care, but collectively they're not the slackers they used to be. The average dad has gradually been getting better about picking himself up off the sofa and pitching in, according to a new report in which a psychologist suggests the payoff for doing more chores could be more sex.

Too much of a hassle to get them to do housework but the cooking has seemed to have been more successful in my case anyway.

But he has to pick up after himself- if he ever wants to see his stuff again.

I regularly do dishes, cook, vacuum the place, launder the clothes and feed and clean up after the cat. my lady also does dishes and cooks, but she washes the floors once every two weeks instead of vacuuming. also, she irons whatever stuff I need ironed (which is two shirts and two sets of slacks).

our sex life is, well, FUCKING AMAZING!!!!! but we work on the "Quality Not Quantity" principle in that we don't just Do It but we marshall our energies and then -- well, greased up minks in heat don't got nothin' on us ...

however, as we are getting older (I am 41, my lady will eviscerate me over a period of weeks if I reveal her age) the 'manic blast' has given way to 'long, slow and veeeeeeery pleasurable.'

so, men, LEARN that True masculinity is Not in being INCAPABLE. any asshole can sit on a couch and be helpless - it takes a REAL MAN to be able to do Everything his woman can do, and do it better than her (except childbirth, I draw the line there). and any man who thinks being a man means not knowing how to wipe his own ass, well, that might be why you don't have a woman in your life ;)
