London: Gas stations are running dry and a ?20 limit is now in effect.
London is plunged into panic buying as gas stations run dry. A 48 hour strike at a Scottish refinery is the camel that breaks England's back.
Petrol Stations Run Dry As Fuel Panic Takes Over-Check out the photos
"Rita Strang, who runs a petrol station in Kincardine O'Neil, has been without diesel since Wednesday. Her other stocks are now running perilously low.
She revealed: "I've been running this petrol station for 50 years and this is the worst crisis I've ever had to deal with.
"We were about twice as busy before but now I'm having to turn customers away. This problem is not going to pass overnight."
In huge stretches of Banffshire diesel was also nowhere to be found.
The Shell station in Keith was out of the fuel, and had no idea when more would arrive".

I don't get it. I know gas prices have skyrocketed, but is it that scarce now that one tiny set back like a strike causes rationing?
Are we really that low on petroleum and if so, why haven't tptb taken the bold step to at least be honest that we've passed peak oil and this is going to be common and get worse?
Governments act like everything is hunkey dory.
Uncle Sam is a two bit coward - always taking money from his brother's kids and telling them he wants them to join his Army.

It may get the message home as to how a single disruption can wreck everything down the line. There is way too much interdependents with the multi nationals driving the smaller local industries out the door.
Blessings in the name of my Lord Jesus Christ who came in the flesh and now sits at the right hand of our God on high.
A confession of faith that the modern Evangelical movement can no longer make!
