Just a thought?
Just wondering about this. Give it to me straight. Cain killed Abel "is the spelling right?" Cain went to the city of Nod and married. If Cain & Abel where the only people besides Adam and Eve who did Cain marry?

LOL...never explains that does it?
A race of half humans-half demon sired by a mating of Lilith and the demon
that came to her at the lake when she fled from Eden?
I've always felt that just because G-d created Adam and Eve prior to
others, it doesn't preclude him having created many many others after.
You do always make a prototype before you start the main production,
don't you?

It says in the Bible that God himself created all types of life...The Bible does _not_ explain EVERY type of "lifeform" God created. Some of the "life" could of been Aliens? What does Aliens and Humans have in common??? And it does not "explain" in the Bible, that the Angels themselfs could of...aswell with some Humans. Just a thought.Quote:

I guess it depends a lot on which "Bible" you're using and if you accept
general "biblical text" in that as well.
The Book of Enoch says:
And it came to pass when the children of men had multiplied that in those days were born unto them beautiful and comely daughters. And the angels, the children of the heaven, saw and lusted after them, and said to one another: 'Come, let us choose us wives from among the children of men." (Enoch 6:1-2)
So, that would point that there at least is an indication of where other beings
would come from.
I think that it's important (not considering aliens and only straight forward
biblical text) that the Old Testament is a history of the Jewish people, there
fore it would follow the ancestors of modern day Jews...the progenitors of
which were "Adam" and "Eve". The first man and woman in that line not
(even if it says so) of the whole human race. Thousands of years has
a way of distorting things...think about it, George Washington is called
the "father" of our nation...a few wars, a few lost documents and our
ancestors could easily believe he really was our father and not just a
figurehead.
The Bible doesn't even preclude other gods. In fact, on something like
50 occasions other gods are mentioned...I wish I could remember the
exact passage for one instance but, as the Jews are going thru the desert,
G-d warns them to avoid some tribe because "they have powerful gods
and they will destroy you". If the G-d of the Jews was out making humans,
one could easily assume that these other gods were too.Last edited by DaveyDoes; Sep 6th, 2008 at 12:49 AM.
