Very Strange
My wife an I awoke this morning and she asked me first thing, Did you say Armageddon Armageddon Armageddon to me? I said no, why? She said well what is Armageddon? I said I think it is the word for the end of the world. I said did you here it in your head or in your ear? She said she heard it through her ears. I'm not sure what it was about but it seemed very strange for someone that did not even no the word to wake up from hearing someone say it in their ear 3 times.

Ok Ezekiel this might be something to look into. Armageddon is a word from the bible so look for codes or secrets in the bible and see if your name or past is found in there. If not you have hearing problems or your just a madman.
LMAO!

Where do you live Zakroyd? Do you own a TV and/or computer? How can your wife make it to adulthood without ever hearing anything about Armageddon? Doesn't sound plausible to mine ears.

You were probably saying the word outloud in your sleep and she heard you.
Sleep the sleep of the just.

hmm..
In any case it was strange, She says she does remember the movie Armageddon... I dont know why I would of said it in my sleep but it is the only explanation that has some logic to it. The others are strange and not of this world. Then again if I did say it, What would make me say it? hmmm If it means something..take a warning..if it was nothing..then let it drift into the realm of the unknown. I'm not religious, just starting to wonder if I should start to be...lol

The one thing you will find if you search into this phenomena is that dream interpreters will tell you that the number three is a confirmation that what you saw or hear was from God and not just the mind organizing what you have recieved or taken in during the day.
Let me tell you a bit about the word Armaggeddon it has three roots to it.
The first is 'Ar' or in Hebrew Har which means mountain.
The Second is 'Magedd' or Meged which means eminent, distinguished or valuable.
The last is 'on' or own which means ability, power, might and strength.
Thus the word means Mountain of Distinguished might or strength.
The last root has two meanings, one that is guaranteed strength and the other is of strength for not or wasted strength.
The common understanding is to associate the word with Megiddo which was a fortress City built on a seventy foot hill. This City was built and it's engineers believed that it was undestroyable. It could be compared to an ancient Titanic, which was destroyed even though everyone said that it could not be.
The reference is actually to the Mountain that has been singled out through countless generations and stands next to the fortress City of Megiddo. It has been the back drop of countless battles through out history. It was the mountain of Zeus in Roman mythology.

Yo , Godsgifttomankind
Geeez. You completely lost me when you associate Meggido, ZEUS and the Romans. When, even during the relatively brief period that Rome adopted some of Greece's "Gods", did they associate the home of Zeus as a small hump in the Isreali desert? The home of Zeus has allways been Mt Olympus in GREECE! That's about 1,800 miles to the north west. More than a days trot even for the King of Gods.
Furthermore Meggido is THE hill that looks out over the Valley of Jezreel. There is no nearby mountain(s). The fortified "city" of Meggido that sat on that hill has existed for the better part of 6,000 years and has overlooked battles down in the valley for all of that time. Even though the city itself was sacked on at least 6 different occasions its location was so strategic it was rebuilt each time.
So.... WHERE do you referrence ZEUS and Meggido. Did he rent a room there for a while or WHAT? Maybe stick to the dream interpretations and leave the history part to ... history.

If you check into the history of Mt. Carmel you will find some very important information and possibly come to understand the truth behind Armageddon.
I appreciate your comments and representation of the history of Meggido, have you had the opportunity to travel there?
It is quite an impressive place and well worth the visit, if you make it there you may want to stop by My house, over looking the prison city of Akka.

well, it has been shown by certain scholars, that the Greek gods actually came after Egyptian gods, and may have been the same 'gods' with different names. After all, Roman gods were renamed Greek gods. The stories passed off for Greek mythology are loose translations of Egytian mythology. You can guess the rest.

The most important thing in understanding Armageddon is the fact that it is not an end to the world but an end to the world as it has been known. That is to say that the time has come to eliminate certain undesirable traits and establish peace and harmony upon this planet. World peace is not only working to happen but it is inevitable, it is the main thought on the minds of every man, woman and child on the planet. It is this heart felt desire that is overcoming oppression of every type and working towards a global understanding. There are many events and technological advances that are pushing the world to this point, some are good while others have an air of devastation but are much needed catalyst in this process. Challenges are at present the life blood of humanity and a part of an unending cycle that spurs men on to greatness.

It is happening the world over than people are getting some kind of "feeling" that major change is to take place. Will it happen soon? Who knows? We cant even truly prepare for it because we dont know what is going to happen. What I do know is people similar to me have also made their way to this board. Welcome aboard!

I have that feeling... I hope it's just non-sense though.

Roughly twenty years ago,
I used to discuss the possibility of the following in a sort of "think-tank" of the concerned who used to wonder about a sort of "cosmic consciousness" where those of sensitive natures could 'tap-into' an almost overiding theme for all of mankind re; "the end of the world as we know it". . .I'm not certain where the thinking here may be that it's just THAT prevailent as "topical news" (or) have we as the society of man just reached that point in time where it is only too likely? All that I do know is that I hear dreams of this nature more & more as time progresses. . . .Can't shake the feeling where this may all serve as preparation for the unthinkable. . .go figure. . .As we approach the truth/the possibility of, will these 'dream states' become more common? We shall see. . . .

Actually Chris4334,
- - -My own life may fool you. I lead a quite happy life with my kids and wife, I can be a terrible joker at times as well as a prankster. (heh-heh) if you knew me, (truth is) you would never suspect that my mind works in the way that it does. Still, even as one as yourself can relate (I am certain) one cannot escape the "Truth that is" in that yes/we are living on the brink, and I never take an additional day for granted. Stop once in a while/smell the breeze, feel the wind in your face, enjoy the moon-light/smell the flowers. You never know when you shall miss them.

On April 10th on Coast to Coast AM Art Bell (I think it was Art) has an interview with Ed Dames, a remote viewing expert who was discussing the idea having common dreams. These common dreams would begin or become more prevelant after an incodent with the Space Shuttle. He would not go into much more.
I believe you can still get the audio from that site. The link is:
http://www.coasttocoastam.com/shows/2004/04/10.html
Here is the very brief teaser from the Coast to Coast AM website.
The Coming Cataclysm
Remote viewing teacher Major Ed Dames (website) shared his latest forecasts which included the identification of the key harbinger event that immediately precedes major cataclysms on our planet. The event he said to watch out for will be the early return of a Space Shuttle mission, due to heavy meteor showers. (Shuttle missions are scheduled to be revived beginning in 2005.)
