Anyone following the stories about uk banking at the moment would you say gordon brown can save us without going into chaos?
Todays news second attempt to rescue banks may look not too promising.

For an in-depth view read ambrose evans-pritchard columns in The Daily Telegraph - he has many doomster scenarios tho' just today he has 'turned' after months of doom forecasts - some say he is a nu-labour lapdog now but his articles are certainly food for thought ....too many to post links.

I don't follow the UK at all, since the US is where most of my money is invested. Also, the US has so many damn issues we really don't need to look outward for other problems to solve.
I think the US will fail, and it will occur in the next 18 - 24 months. I say fail as in the US will collapse inward. The monetary system will collapse sooner, unless BHO can work in miracles.

Here is the latest.
The Royal Bank of Scotland was on the brink last night after the biggest loss in British corporate history sparked a collapse in its shares.
So much for the rescue package would you be willing to pay your taxes now?

We are on some kind of breakdown for sure.
Look at frances car industry and most uk workers fear losing their jobs this year and next year,so obviously the feeling is mutual?

The wheels are coming off this ride. Doesn't matter where you are in the world, the econocalypse is upon us.
Where can I get a "My nation rang up $150,000 in debt in my name, and all I got was this lousy t-shirt" shirt?Their world crumbled, the cities exploded. A whirlwind of looting, a firestorm of fear. Men began to feed on men.
