I grew up in haunted house

Throughout my childhood I remember "strange" things all family member experienced.

My brother and I had rooms upstairs. There were 2 completed rooms and an attic which accessible by an ordinary door with knobs and a latch. It was a daily occurrence that door is ajar thinking my brother is trying to "freak" me out. I always shut the door if it's open and again, find it open.

One day my brother told me that there was a white silhouette going toward my room. I didn't go to my room for a length of period. Even though I thought he was just wanted to freak me out.

One evening I remember I had a dream, a strange dream, that I was somewhat being chased by a tiger and I had an eye on right palm of my hand, then I awoke with half of my body being cold and the half warm with the right hand up in the air. I got scared and went to my folks' bedroom and slept.

Years after the family had sold the house and I made an inquiry to all the family members about the house. My mom had told me about her being "watched" in the kitchen area all the time and she saw a large man standing right by the bedroom door. I asked the same thing to my dad and he told me about a large figure he had seen, as well.

I also asked my brother abut what he told me about the white figure/mist emerging from attic going to my bed room. He said it was true and he told me about him being pressed against his bed and unable to move.

My cousin who stayed with us for a short period of time also told me recently that her and her sister heard loud noise coming from upstairs (my brother's room and mine) and thought we were upstairs... we weren't even home and saw an object moved from one side of the coffee table to another.

My brother and I rarely stayed home as, at least, I was never felt comfortable.

In addition to our family experiences we also heard from a tenant that she saw a large figure from a back entry and soon after the tenant moved and oddly they all left a pair of shoes when they left, nothing else.

My question is this. What is the meaning of my dream? I have never had another dream like one that I described above.

Maybe you were worrying too much about your kins' strange stories and your subconscious brain generated some unconscious explanation.

I did as well, it was an old farmhouse, nearly 100 years old.

There was the sound of something huge crashing and falling down the stairs that led to the basement almost every night at the same time. It sounded like a person falling down the stairs.

I was about three years old, and this sounds weird, but a cowboy boot in the corner almost pulled me into an alternate dimension.

My dad was away working for a week, and my mom woke up one morning with a huge 8ft tall wall mirror laying on the bed beside her. There was no one else in the house but me, and I was a baby.
