Biblical WARNING!
I need to post this, I am going to sleep tonight, but I am not sure where or if I will wake up.
Read "2nd Timothy 3" its really important for everyone to read it or look it up if you don't have a bible.
Thats all I have to say.
"He who calls on the name of the Lord, shall be saved."

This one is the only thing that inspired me through the reads.
16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Feb 12th, 2009 9:33 AM #4Whom do you serve, the Earthly Gods who inspired the Bible, or Divine Creation? I suggest meditating on that for a lunar cycle.3 I thank God, whom I serve, as my forefathers did, with a clear conscience, as night and day I constantly remember you in my prayers."When you gaze long into the Abyss, the Abyss also gazes into you." Even they, serve the Eternal flame. Those who do not stand with the Lord, stand against him. The wicked shall perish like chaff in the wind.
Repent, and do the Lord's works, for the day of the Lord will come upon man swiftly and unexpectedly.
Be wise, and be not at war with God.
"He who calls on the name of the Lord, shall be saved."

I understand it in a different way, I serve the Lord of hosts. The eternal flame of the universe. I am faithful to the Lord. Even the beasts and cherubims bow to the Lord.

Nah, its all good. Just find the narrow way. Many will. You don't have to be a prophet or mystic to have faith and trust in the Lord.

better to watch where ones own feet are walking, rather than tripping while watching someone elses feet.
each of us have our own fruits, not everyone bears the same fruit, some are prophets, some are teachers, others are healers...You don't have to be a prophet or mystic to have faith and trust in the Lord.if i offend you, you are part of the fucking problem.

Congratulations! I see you made it through the night.
No, one only has to believe in fairy tales.Nah, its all good. Just find the narrow way. Many will. You don't have to be a prophet or mystic to have faith and trust in the Lord.

Sorry, I just find it impossible to believe in anything without any evidence whatsoever to support it. Ancient myths sloppily revised and recopied in order to serve the needs and purposes of the wanna be rulers at the time just don't cut it for me.Last edited by Nu Kua; Feb 12th, 2009 at 4:26 PM.

Goldmoon, even the wicked know not what they do, but their very hearts will be turned towards their fathers at the last days. It is God who hardens the heart or allows one to listen.

Hmmm... A scripture that says people who always learn things are on the path the folly (see verse 7) says to me that the people who wrote that verse didn't want anyone to question their authority...
OR it really is somehow Divinely inspired and is a warning to remember that knowledge of facts are great, but there are deeper truths to ponder."I was put on trial twice near Y2K for acting like Jesus and claiming to be the Messiah. Its not everyday that a man parks a Chariot of Fire in front of a tomb and stands against the US government with a bow and razor tipped arrows over his shoulder. I wore a suit of armor and was protected by an invisible bubble and my sharp tongue was more than the judicial system could handle."Jake

Interesting you should say that. In my youth I pondered the word as it said that knowledge was worth more than gold. As not a total ignoramous, I thought that was pretty true in that I knew a thing or two, but later realized that it wasn't talking about worldy knowledge. Don't get me wrong, science is accurate in it's teaching and has use, but it cannot save you or bring you to the full spiritual knowledge of God. There is a higher wisdom that textbooks cannot teach you because it isn't something tangible.

I think my favorite verse is in Hebrews 13. "Therefore let us lay aside every weight and the sin which does so easily beset us and let us run with patience the race that is set before us..."
I wish that more xians would heed this teaching: to think of their own faults before criticizing others and live a life of patience and endurance."We will not be driven by fear into an age of unreason, if we dig deep in our history and our doctrine, and remember that we are not descended from fearful men — not from men who feared to write, to associate, to speak and to defend causes that were, for the moment, unpopular."
Edward R. Murrow

Well said, everyone. I would give you all rep, but can't. LOL!

Another fav verse from when I was a xian:
Isaiah 41:9b and 10:
'You [are] My servant, I have chosen you and have not cast you away:
Fear not, for I [am] with you; Be not dismayed, for I [am] your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.'"We will not be driven by fear into an age of unreason, if we dig deep in our history and our doctrine, and remember that we are not descended from fearful men — not from men who feared to write, to associate, to speak and to defend causes that were, for the moment, unpopular."

my favorite book has always been psalms, my favorite is chapters 22 and 23 in the book of psalms.
another one i love....first epistle of john ch 2 verse 27. And as for you, the anointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you; but as His anointing teaches you about all things, and it is true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you abide in Him.the eye only sees what the mind is willing to comprehend
