The Beast (My thoughts)

Here's the deal, I think that the G7 or UN is the beast spoken of in revelation.

It has 7 heads & 10 horns. 7 heads is 7 leaders, the 10 horns are sub-ordinates.

It rose up out of the sea, which in that case means turmoil. The G7 was created out of the turmoil.

One of its heads was wounded, yet healed.

"Who is alike unto the beast, who can make war with it?"

2009-2012 (Obama's Reign) Antichrist is in power for the first 3 1/2 years of tribulation. After December 2012, the "Mark of the Beast" will be in full effect. No many may buy or sell except he that has the mark. (Rev 13:16)

After Dec 2012, (Halfway through the 7 years) the Beast was given power to make war with the Saints, and to overcome them (Mark of the Beast in full effect) for the other 3 1/2 years.

Power was given to the beast over all tongues, and kindreds, and nations. (Rev 13:7) The beast will control it all. This will be a one world government system with the RFID chip.

Just my thoughts so far, as the scriptures say, things will become more evident as we approach this time. More will be revealed soon.

You left out, that there will a peace treaty with the Arab nations,
and the Temple must be rebuilt,
so that it can be defiled by the anti-christ
(demand to be worshipped) in said temple.

I agree with the general assessment of the G7, Gold. The reason is simple. There simply isn't time to grow a new world empire before the last generation, arriving at Israel's rebirth in 1948. This has to be it.

I agree with what Goldmoon says.
The 10 horns are symbolical of the 10 kings which will rise to power after the Mark of Beast. Likely the world will be divided in 10 regions [Europe , North America, etc…] by approval of the Beast. The woman/whore is the mother of all false religions. She will be destroyed when she won’t be useful to the Beast anymore.

Interesting indeed! I goggled "7 heads and 10 horns" and there must have been 20 different interpretations of Revelation Chapter 13. I wonder who has it figured out?
