Iran begins military exercise "enormous," the Persian Gulf and Sea of Oman

United Arab Emirates (CNN) - The Iranian army said that military exercises will begin Monday, sea and land, "large" in the Gulf and Sea of Oman, in order to "strengthen the forces and tactical support to military forces," according to the army.

Doesnt it seem a coincidence now that North korea has threatened Hawaii,im sure this is some sort of ploy and getting ready for a new third world war.

I know im speculating as usual but it says to me at least we are on the verge and Iraq was the training ground for another war.

Iran is pissed off. That's what this is a result of. The Iranians are convinced the CIA is involved in trying to destabilize its regime and is merely rattling its sabers to try and force the US' hand somewhat.

For now i am more worried about the People of Iran, than anything else, i dont think we are close to WW3, but i have to admit that i saw a documentary last week, saying that Ahmadinejad's dream was to start WW3.

We went in guns blazing after hostile, by American standards, regimes in Afghanistan and Iraq. Afghanistan is not even close to being stable and Iraq still relies upon us for military and financial aid. Until we get those two nations standing on their own, and then get our own nation back into shape, perhaps we should avoid sticking our noses in the business of other nations.

There are plenty of other options available to us. What we need to do is actually try some of those options before claiming we need to create yet another "coalition of the willing."
