wnd doesnt report news so this didnt actually happen. Sure somebody was probably arrested... but that is not what they based this fable on. And your persecution complex is actually getting pretty damned pathetic.

Jan 30th, 2010 2:31 PM #3Charges were dropped against a Sacramento-area youth pastor who was arrested while sharing his Christian faith one-on-one with shoppers at a mall.
Matthew Snatchko, who regularly takes a small group of youth from his church to the Galleria Mall in Roseville, Calif., said he was interrupted by a security guard May 8 while in the middle of a conversation.
Pointing out no one has ever complained of his activities at the mall, Snatchko told WND the guard demanded he leave because he was "walking around and talking to people."I'm sure here in the real world, this never happened.Matthew McReynolds, counsel for Pacific Justice Institute said experiences like Snatchko's are all too common.
"Shopping malls cannot selectively have people removed because they hear people talking about their faith with a willing listener," he told WND. "That kind of a tactic is something for George Orwell's '1984,' not for us of America."

so what happens when a pedophile disguised as a Priest starts chatting up kids in a mall?

So the only reason you dipshits can give that it must have not happened was because it was reported by WND. What a pathetic defense.
You make the claim but there is a court case pending over this very issue.
THE FACT IS THAT IT HAPPENED!

The theme of this thread should be along the lines of Security-guards in malls, etc. feel compelled-to inject themselves into other peoples' business because they're frustrated cops with an over-heightened sense of self-importance... with male guards' inclination to show-off for the Fredericks Of Hollywood, etc. salesgirls/milfs.

Oh, it happened, and it is pathetic.

The California Court of Appeal is considering the constitutionality of a Sacramento-area shopping mall’s attempt to prevent adult patrons from talking to each other about hot-button topics such as religion and politics.
The case arose after a youth pastor, Matthew Snatchko, was arrested at the Roseville Galleria Mall in 2007 for striking up a casual conversation with two other shoppers about faith. Although Snatchko had first obtained the shoppers’ permission to broach the subject, a nearby store employee disapproved and called mall security guards, who arrested Snatchko. Criminal charges were later dropped, but attorneys with Pacific Justice Institute filed suit to challenge the mall’s tight restrictions on speech.
Under the mall’s rules, shoppers are not allowed to engage in conversations about potentially controversial topics like religion or politics, unless they already know the person they are talking to. Another mall rule bans the wearing of any clothing with religious or political messages.
After a Placer County Superior Court judge upheld the mall’s rules in 2008, Pacific Justice Institute appealed to the Third Appellate District in Sacramento. Written briefing at the Court of Appeal concluded last week. The case is proceeding in state court and is based on state constitutional provisions because those provisions, unlike the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, extend free speech protections to some non-governmental settings like shopping malls.
PJI Staff Attorney Matthew McReynolds, who submitted the appellate briefs, has been mystified by the mall’s adherence to its draconian rules. “It’s surprising that mall owners think they can arrest patrons for engaging in casual conversations,” he said. “While a ‘don’t talk to strangers’ rule may be good for kids, enforcing it against adults is absurd, and we think it violates California’s free speech guarantees.”
PJI President Brad Dacus commented, “Singling out religious speech for punishment violates our most basic principles of free expression. If anyone can be arrested for wearing a Christian t-shirt or mentioning God in a shopping mall, we have lost not only our freedom, but our sanity as a society.”
PJI affiliate attorney Timothy Smith, of the Sacramento firm McKinley & Smith, served pro bono as Snatchko’s lead counsel in the trial court and continues to serve as part of the appellate team.

First of all, I was making no claim about whether or not it occured. I was merely pointing out to Olddragon that citing a source DBA rejects is not going to convince him.
Second, I AGREE that it's bullshit that local towns would try to censor speech!
Now, this Sacramento law forbids talking about hot topic issues like religion and politics.
The pertinent question, of course, is this: Would YOU have a problem if a flaming fag got arrested for trying to start conversations with people about gay rights?
Answer the question please. My belief is that either ALL speech is permitted or none is."I was put on trial twice near Y2K for acting like Jesus and claiming to be the Messiah. wasn't there a Mall somewhere that tried to make itself 'White Christian Only' through draconian security measures?
I seem to recall that this same situation, with the roles reversed, occurred recently where a Mall was allowed to enforce it's rules of Only White Christian Shoppers were welcome and anyone who didn't fit the profile was ejected by security.
anyone remember this - it might have been posted on AO ...For every human problem there is an easy and simple answer. And it is always wrong. - H.L. Mencken

The moment you stop free speech you open the door to the underground and all the negative consequences that comes with it. When DVD was here did I stop him from saying what he wanted. I disagreed with him yes! I proved his points wrong, yes! but I would not call for him to be banned.
Like wise in the street what they do in their private lives should be their affair, But I do not want it shoved down my throat the whole time. If a conversation is struck up about the subject I will make my beliefs on the subject clear but I will not forbid the subject from being spoken about. people should be allowed to talk about what they damn well like!
What I do not like about the education system and sensitivity training is that the subject is not allowed to be disagreed with. A student cannot say that he does not agree that shoving his dick up another males ass disgusts him without the expectation of negative consequences from the teaching faculty. And don't try and tell me it does not happen, my own kids have just graduated from high school and they told me all about it and it did effect their grades because they did not adopt the correct political attitude.
Neither do I believe that gays should be pastors in Christian churches because it is in violation of the articles of the faith. I have no problem with them starting their own religion but to destroy another just to force their own way is wrong and I intend to say so. If they want to have their own gay religion then let them at it, I don't have to be involved in it nor does any other real Christian but they should extend the same courtesy to others of different faiths as well.
Like wise I do not believe that sex education in the form of graphic details should be taught in the lower grades because it causes more problems than it solves. To demonstrate, If you teach a kid the ten best ways to kill a man along with the philosophy that it is perfectly natural then you can bet they will go out and try it to see if it works. This applies to all subjects and sex is no different. The fact is that if you want to create a problem where there was not one before, all you have to do is teach about it to the point where it becomes considered normally acceptable.Blessings in the name of my Lord Jesus Christ who came in the flesh and now sits at the right hand of our God on high.

Oh boy now we get another one .
A dance teacher got fired because she used Christian religious music as the tune to dance to.
http://www.pacificjustice.org/blog/d...usic-iin-class
I mean come on! how are you going to teach a slow dance to Iron maiden anyway.
IN fact under the no religion clause in schools most of the modern rock should be banned as well because they keep mentioning satan and his allocation of demons in the lyrics of the words which makes it a religious song to satanism anyway.
But where is the school principles outrage there?
The bias is blatantly obvious!Blessings in the name of my Lord Jesus Christ who came in the flesh and now sits at the right hand of our God on high.

after a little bit of browsing "pacificjustice" it has become clear that it does not relay ACTUAL news either but rather just their editorial on certain news items. So yet again we are at a point where you need to cite a news source backing up what PJ.org claims to have happened.

Jan 31st, 2010 5:30 PM #22I looked... Couldnt find the real story. Maybe you can help me.Or do you think that you can get away with not just saying stuff but by demanding stuff in such a way so as to discredit without effort.
So far you have two "sources" that seem to be all about feeding your persecution complex.I aggressively attack stupidity... If you feel I am being aggressive, well....

And you seem to think that reverse psychology works. You can claim I have a persecution complex all you like, I love fan mail, but it does not detract from the fact that it is happening and being recorded and resisted in the courts.
now if you want to be ignorant and call the obvious a complex then fine. just don't expect to be treated with any real credibility as time goes on.Blessings in the name of my Lord Jesus Christ who came in the flesh and now sits at the right hand of our God on high.

Like I insinuated. You have no real argument so you fall back on ridicule.
basically you have lost your touch deadbeat. you cannot defend your position and you cannot denie that these events are taking place.
In fact you are not even funny anymore, just boringly repetitive.Blessings in the name of my Lord Jesus Christ who came in the flesh and now sits at the right hand of our God on high.
