The Face of Jesus

from what I recall the Shroud was proven to have been created back in the 12th or 13th century - can't find the link to back that up though ...
as for the face of Jesus, wasn't there some controversy a few years ago when an historical anthropologist teamed up with a police forensic sculptor and the result was an Aramaic guy (i.e. - he looked very much like a black man) with strong features and not at all blonde and angelic ala Richard Chamberlain in his prime.

Yeah, I strongly doubt jesus was white. No comment on the features, but the skin color should definitely be brownish. Arabic/sephardic looking.
Jesus definitely wasn't an ashkenazi...his ancestors never sojourned in europe.
