There is no explanation needed for Obama's victory. It's obvious. He was charismatic enough to beat out the primary competition, and after that, that was all that was needed.

When you are running against the party who just gave a president whose approval ratings were under 25%, it's almost assuredly an easy victory.

Have you not noticed that every move in his public career has been intentionally made for one purpose?

No under-the-table help was needed. From day one his public life was meticulously calculated to eventually win the Presidency.

I mean seriously, watch every single political move he has made his entire career going back to immediately after undergraduate college. He was active in black communities in Chicago to get locally elected to get a foot in the door (black guys have a harder time being elected locally in white communities). He joined a Christian church (is probably an agnostic who cares little for religion) in order to claim that he was Christian to get some more votes and help compensate for his name.

He touted his white mother to absolve racist fears by middle of the road white voter. He added a few Ebonics inflections and phrases when talking to black crowds and young crowds, but not so much that he would be identified by the public as black, simultaneously he spoke like a white dude to white crowds, infusing his talk with patriotic slogans.

He went to Harvard Law School because only rich people and Ivy league graduates make it in national politics. He charmed colleagues, even people on different political sides, while he worked his way up, building relationships on the way. He learned speech-craft to a degree that was as charming as Clinton ever was (maybe Obama is even better), and learned to mimic the slight motions that Reagan made while giving speeches.

He (very subtly) played on white guilt (by consistently ramming down America's throat how "America has changed for the better!") to keep middle of the road white people from voting against him because he has a Muslim sounding name. Most importantly, he timed his push for the Presidency at exactly the time when America was completely fed up of "established" politics, both with Bush's and the Clinton's.



No help was needed. The master plan was laid and executed to perfection.

No I give him props for going out and working on it. Even if I disagree with his positions I still support his use of free speech and modern media.
