What humans weren't the only ones that became intelligent?

I was just thinking what would society if more than one sapian survived other that humans or there was other human like creatres around now. Would we accept them would we try to kill them off. Would they domenate us control us or try to kill us. What would society be like? would would our morlals be like? What would religion be like?

I think we'd treat them like every other animal and throw them in a zoo. It's not like an other form of homo sapien was ever more advanced than we are now, so I don't think there would be a threat from them.

but lets say they did get as advanced or more advanced that theyu elvolved too and don't day they all evolved into humans because there was a time when there were humans and humaniods. Neadathals were ment to be pretty smart.

I read a yahoo story recently stating that conclusive evidence had been discovered that the neanderthal did intermix with the cro magon.
