What happened to the owl? Someone ought to kick the soccer player while on the ground to see how he likes it! Moron!
"An apologetic player is facing sanctions after he kicked an injured owl that landed on the field during a game in Colombia on Sunday. The owl was a mascot for the opposing team and was being treated Monday at a veterinary clinic in Barranquilla. The bird is expected to recover from a slight fracture of its right leg."

A mere slap on the wrist. I really think he should be banned for at the LEAST 1 season and pay a much stiffer penalty. The soccer player who kicked an injured owl off the field during a match has been suspended for two matches and fined $560 by Colombian soccer officials.

I can't even watch the video. I hate animal cruelty. I agree, he should be suspended.

He should be beaten to a pulp. Piece of shit. Too many jocks are worthless assholes, so I guess it's not much of a surprise.
The other players didn't care, either. Just running past it, kicking the ball at it, like it's a piece of trash. They all deserve to rot. All of the money that goes to their team and equipment should be immediately diverted to animal rescue."But more wonderful than the lore of old men and the lore of books is the secret lore of ocean."
