Republican Sends Racist Email, But Denies Being Racist

An e-mail reportedly sent by party central committee member Marilyn Davenport shows an image, posed like a family portrait, of chimpanzee parents and child, with Obama's face artificially superimposed on the child. Text beneath the photo reads, "Now you know why no birth certificate."
Davenport, when reached by The Associated Press, said she would provide a written statement with her response, but several hours later she had not issued one.
The alternative newspaper OC Weekly first reported the story, and was told by Davenport that the e-mail was "just an Internet joke." She also asked the Weekly, "You're not going to make a big deal about this are you?"
She asks if they will make a big deal about her racism. Like uh... Yeah, duh.

Bush as a Chimp is an insult towards Bush's IQ. Obama as a Chimp is a racist insult used by conservatives all the way back to the 50's if not earlier.

Truthfully one reason I haven't made more funny or pointed Obama pics is because I become livid when people reduce a valid criticism of him down to a racist rant- as some are wont to do. But good point about the IQ and Bush/chimp, because I have never considered Obama stupid for even a second, so the thought of having him look like a chimp wouldn't occur to me. Wait a minute! Didn't you people get the memo?
In order to ask for things like honesty in government, responsibility in leadership, integrity and transparency, and demand it from people like President Obama, you are supposed to have never wanted it from people like President Bush.
Though it might be hard for President Obama's fan club to imagine, there are many people who despise hypocrisy and who remain consistent in a desire for honesty no matter who is in leadership at the time.

I feel that they are both right. It should not matter if it is from the left are right. We elect these people to lead. With the problems we have had for the last 8 are so years,If poor taste emails and drawings is all you can offer then we made a bad decision in appointing you. I dont care if some one is white, black, blue, are green. LEFT or RIGHT. Please just work on what we sent you there to do!

Do you remember when George W couldn't find the door at the Chinese Embassy (or wherever it was- I can't recall). He tried the door and it was locked and he was like---- "Oh dang, now I look stupid." And he did.
See if you were to use that as an example of a time when Bush looked like a buffon, I'd have to agree-- particularly if I'd just finished stating as fact that George had "never done anything that makes him come across as a buffoon of any sort." It would be rather silly of me to deny it, in the face of the evidence you just provided--- had you provided say a video of him looking like a buffoon trying to open the locked door, for example.
