Well this doesn't song good. Maybe a new version of h1n1?

An unidentified virus affecting pregnant or recently pregnant women in South Korea has claimed a second fatality in just a few weeks.

A 36-year-old pregnant woman died Thursday morning, Xinhua reports, nearly 15 days after the same virus registered its first fatality.

Earlier this month, another woman died due to the still unknown virus, South Korea's Yonhap News Agency reported. She was also pregnant when first hospitalized.

The government quickly quelled fears about the virus earlier this month, saying it was unlikely to spread. At least eight people in all are said to be affected by the virus. Though the vast majority are women, a 40-year-old man was also infected, per CNN.

Symptoms for the mystery virus have included cold or flu-like symptoms, cough and difficulty breathing, according to TIME.

The same thing happened in Vietnam and China last year. And pregnant people are more vulnerable to H1N1. Which is currently having an more severe than usual outbreak in that nation and one of the victims has been tested positive.

However one of the cases has already also been found positive for the Corona virus. (A mutated strain caused SARS a while back.) While others have been found not to be infected with any known or unknown dangerous viruses or bacteria at all. (5 of the 8 patients known in may)

None of the cases have so far been linked with each other so far. Or have shown an comparable pattern in their sickness.
So at the moment, its believed that this is just a bunch of unrelated incidents being incorrectly grouped as one.
Al through a virus has yet to be completely ruled out.
