Looks like the Jewish people start to support this project... I guess their hardline government is about to face some challenges...

There's trouble in Israel...
http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7...102967,00.htmlFormer Industry, Trade and Labor Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer told Ynet in an interview Monday he fears Israel is headed towards the worst disaster since the establishment of the state. He added that "the social protest is only beginning" and that it would get worse in September, when the Palestinians plan to appeal to the UN for statehood recognition.

U.S. envoy: We will stop aid to Palestinians if UN bid proceeds
http://www.haaretz.com/news/diplomac...ceeds-1.380901U.S. Consul General in Jerusalem, Daniel Rubinstein, told chief Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat, that the U.S. would veto a UN Security Council resolution calling for recognition of an independent Palestinian state in the West Bank and Gaza Strip within the June 4, 1967 borders and for UN membership. "If the Palestinian Authority insists on going to the Security Council, the U.S. will use the veto," he told Erekat during a meeting in the West Bank city of Jericho, according to a statement issued by Erekat's office.
"And in case the Palestinian Authority seeks to upgrade its position at the UN through the General Assembly, the U.S. Congress will take punitive measures against it, including a cut in U.S. aid," he said.
The U.S. has proven to be a true friend of the Palestinians.

UN envoy Prosor: Israel has no chance of stopping recognition of Palestinian state
http://www.haaretz.com/print-edition...state-1.381062Israel's ambassador to the United Nations, Ron Prosor, sent a classified cable to the Foreign Ministry last week, stating that Israel stands no chance of rallying a substantial number of states to oppose a resolution at the UN General Assembly recognizing a Palestinian state in September.
Israel still can invade the Palestinian territories and annex them... after all, they're experienced in waging wars of conquest. It worked in the Golan Heights, in East Jerusalem... and nobody cares about UN resolutions adopted against it.

I guess you're right... well, they still can start a new war!
That will work! ...and it's going to distract some attention from the Palestinian statehood bid.

This is the ancient biblical prophecy that is about to be fulfilled. It is quite straight forward and all should be able to understand it if they bother to actually read it;
Joe 3:1 For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,
Joe 3:2 I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.
Joe 3:3 And they have cast lots for my people; and have given a boy for an harlot, and sold a girl for wine, that they might drink.
Joe 3:4 Yea, and what have ye to do with me, O Tyre, and Zidon, and all the coasts of Palestine? will ye render me a recompence? and if ye recompense me, swiftly and speedily will I return your recompence upon your own head;
Joe 3:5 Because ye have taken my silver and my gold, and have carried into your temples my goodly pleasant things:
Joe 3:6 The children also of Judah and the children of Jerusalem have ye sold unto the Grecians, that ye might remove them far from their border.
Joe 3:7 Behold, I will raise them out of the place whither ye have sold them, and will return your recompence upon your own head:
Joe 3:8 And I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the children of Judah, and they shall sell them to the Sabeans, to a people far off: for the LORD hath spoken it.
Joe 3:9 Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up:
Joe 3:10 Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.
Joe 3:11 Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O LORD.
Joe 3:12 Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about.
Joe 3:13 Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great.
Joe 3:14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.
Joe 3:15 The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.
Joe 3:16 The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.
Joe 3:17 So shall ye know that I am the LORD your God dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass through her any more.Blessings in the name of my Lord Jesus Christ who came in the flesh and now sits at the right hand of our God on high.
A confession of faith that the modern Evangelical movement can no longer make!

The next days will be quite exciting... There's gotta be a reaction to all this in the Muslim world.
http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7...123199,00.htmlPalestinian President Mahmoud Abbas was set to deliver a speech at 6 pm Israel time Friday to present his upcoming statehood bid and position on peace talks with Israel.
No less importantly, Abbas was expected to elaborate on developments to follow the United Nations vote later this month and whether such vote will even take place, given ongoing American and European pressure to forego or water down the Palestinian bid.

This is so pathetic...
http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7...123482,00.htmlAmerica will try to avoid vetoing proposal at the Security Council, is trying to persuade six other nations to oppose bid; two African nations and Bosnia are toughest hurdles.

How about they make a deal?
If the Palestinians can go one year with out blowing up little kids or firing missiles at a nursery while screaming "Exterminate every Jew on the planet!" then they can be considered human and get a nation.

All the Palestinians want is the right to exist.
THEY HAVE A RIGHT TO EXIST
What a bitch to be denied that right....
It is so sick... to have your national neighbor refer to his god and people as being more human then you.
They have a right to live... they do live.... Palestinians are human beings just like Obama. I wish people like you GG (the secret republican troll ) would view them as such.
They Have every right to exist just like their Israeli neighbors that slaughter them.Jim Crow America relegated Blacks to the back of buses. Israel wants Arabs excluded from the bus entirely.

Allowing them to have their state is simply the best option. As it would force both sides to accept each other existence and gives both nation an equal position in the UN.
Not to mention that if we can play it right. It would be a victory of the moderates.
Hamas can than whine all it want. But it was the decision to use politics and not violence that resulted in their wish.

Mr. Carter has a very sensible point of view...
http://presstv.com/detail/199927.htmlFormer US President Jimmy Carter has called on the current American administration not to veto a UN Security Council vote for Palestinian statehood expected to take place next week.
"If I were president, I'd be very glad to see the Palestinians have a nation recognized by the United Nations," Carter said in a Sunday interview with the US-based National Public Radio (NPR).
Carter emphasized that "there's no downside to it."
The former American president admitted that if President Barack Obama resisted Tel Aviv’s pressure and did not veto Palestinian statehood bid at the UN, the powerful Israeli lobby in the US would punish Obama. “But I think it's a price worth paying,” he underlined.
Carter said that today, Palestinian statehood should be a basic moral commitment for the United States.

Highly unlikely we will see this happening. Far too much blood between the two governments/people. Though I am not convinced that all of the Palestinian attacks upon the Israelis are actually conducted by Palestinians. Some are quite likely Mossad attacks used to keep the public up in arms over the land disputes.

That and being Muslims they probably couldn't go one month. Hell, a week, with out raping a 6 year old like Mohammed did or beheading a woman for speaking with out being spoken too or blowing up school bus full of little kids.

Every Palestinian citizen hopes to be a martyr."Commercials and cartoons are how they are taught the hatred and today we see yet another example of this.
GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip — Saraa Barhoum picked at the buttons on her pink bellbottom jeans as she twisted on a chair inside the bustling new Hamas television headquarters. The afternoon light bounced off the sparkly outlines of butterflies on her frilly top, and a colorful hijab framed her 11-year-old face.
Saraa wants to be a doctor. If she can't, the young star of Hamas television's best-known children's show said, she'd be proud to become a martyr. Saraa says little Jewish girls should be forced from their homes in Israel so that Palestinians can return to their land.
[...]
Saraa is the sweet face of "Tomorrow's Pioneers," a weekly, hour-long Hamas television children's show best known for bringing the world a militant Mickey Mouse look-alike and then having him killed off by an Israeli interrogator.
With her jarring mix of innocent charm and militant rhetoric, Saraa is at the center of the militant Islamist group's increasingly sophisticated campaign to become the dominant force in Palestinian politics.
[...]
"A lot of people in Palestine have died as martyrs, and lots of Palestinians hope to be martyrs," Saraa said of Farfour's demise. "This is one of the ends."
Asked if she hoped one day to be a martyr, Saraa instinctively nodded her head.
"Of course," Saraa said. "It's something to be proud of. Every Palestinian citizen hopes to be a martyr."
Every Palestinian hopes to blow up a school bus with little kids.
