The chick is pretty! But, the gorilla is certainly the best part! I wish my curious george could talk like him, my heart would certainly melt if he could!



There are other episodes, but this certainly seems to be the most provocative. I'm pretty sure it's offensive. I don't find the content in this particular video humorous or in very good taste, but darnit people have the right to parody whatever they please. But I just love that little gorilla! Maybe it's the puppeteers voice.

There's one that makes fun of America as well

It's interesting though, because I'm pretty sure U.S. media is forbidden to make fun of Israel. Big taboo issue over in the states.

I don't know about that Tahn, I've been through several links on Google and only a few of them said that they were children's shows. They also had Anti-Zionist Slogans at the tops of the web pages for the most part, so one must ask themselves if it's biased reporting because this show is never mentioned in any 'trusted' news source. There's no real valid information on this show on any English speaking website.

There's also an episode about how to put a condemn on. However they don't really show you the right way, so unless Isreal intentionally wants to fill their children's minds with incredibly ludicrous and false information (let's not drag the Palestinians into this one), my guess is this was aimed at the stoner/teenage demographic.

I think it's just an Isreali television network's idea of mocking children's programming and being completely insensitive.

yeah South Park has made fun of Mohammed in several episodes, once before 9/11 and I don't think a majority of American's knew who the hell he was at the time to really take notice.

The second time was almost two years ago. The creators of South Park were very creative not showing Mohammed, but they did get a death threat.

I think at this point a lot of cartoonists have figured it's a joke not worth telling. I believe a dutch cartoonist was killed once (well you can only be killed once that's stupid), and some people are in hiding.Who knows who might pick up on it?

It has to do with history more than anything, since if I am not mistaken Muslim culture forbids showing the image of their prophet. I am sure you know this though, so I'm probably just preaching this to the choir!

Is it disguised as an educational program just in aesthetics and structure, but the show and it's content were meant to reach an older audience who could understand the difference between fact and parody? OR....

When they say "full of puppets", the creators may have just taken props from an older children's show. That's the case for Wonder Showzen. The puppets in that show were bought from A Bible Channel who were unaware of the content the once family friendly puppets would be put in.

My best guess is the fact that the entire region hasn't even the slightest sense of what "comedy" really is. Or... they really find that sort of thing funny. I've always felt you can learn alot about a person by what gets them to laugh. Maybe this is just them telling on themselves?

It's just not for me anymore, even though there would still be some hilarious bits, the rest is too raw for my tastes, but lots of people still love it.
So I wonder what other nations might make it out to mean about the mindset of Americans, if they saw some Family Guy clips and were trying to interpret more of them, with Google Translate.

I watched it once in a while in the past but it's just too damn crass for my palate. Gets on my nerves more than it makes me laugh. South Park is a little better.
