The 23 Enigma
Don't know if this is supernatural per se, but I don't know where else this would fit other than here. Anyway, there is a numerological superstition called the 23 Enigma. The idea is that the number 23 or some variation of it (such as 32, which is 23 backwards) is the universal number and is at the center of a lot of important events throughout history.
I personally don't buy into the idea that it has been an important number for a whole bunch of events throughout history, but what I do know is that in my personal life, 23 is my lucky number and has been connected to a lot of important events in my life. Here's a few examples:
My name (Kevin Wayne Lockard) has a 23 connection to it. My first and last name initials are the 11th and 12th letters on the alphabet. The number's single digits added together spell out 2 and 3 (1+1=2 and 1+2=3) and the numbers added together equal 23 (11+12=23.) W, my middle name initial, is the 23rd letter on the alphabet. My birthday is November 12th (11+12=23.) My mother's birthday is October 23rd, 1962. That means she turned 23 in 1985 (1+9+8+5=23) and she turned 32 in 1994 (1+9+9+4=23.)
And there are many more references.
So, anyway, does anyone buy into associated with numerology, or in this case, that the number 23 has any sort of mystical quality to it?

In Chaldean "numerology", 23 was considered the Royal Star of the Lion- a number of karmic reward, where past good deeds are returned, and that help and protection can be garnered from "higher places".

The 23 enigma is no more than programmed recognition. You want to find 23 you will. You buy a new blue Honda Civic and you will notice all the other blue Honda Civics or just blue cars on the road. If you like white dogs, you might pass 10 dogs and not notice them until you see a white one.
Like your example of your name, the only way it works for 23 is of you make it. Your name has 3 values you can't just pick the ones that work. Even though W is the 23 letter it throws your formula off.Mr. T made his van go twice the speed of light because he wanted to prove that quantum physics was a bunch of jibba jabba.

Perhaps, but would you also have considered a factor if it did not at up to 23.

Numerology is subjective hogwash
As stated before me, you can make anything out of numbers you wish, and you can ignore numbers that don't follow your code....
What if we used a hexidecimal system instead of base-10? What if we used binary? The same "meaningful" solutions wouldn't be there... shows how meaningful they are

I thought that 29 is the enigma... Something regarding a prime number. -The first number in which a 'gap' occurs, and can be written using the first four primes and the three main math operations... 29 = (2 x 7) + (3 x 5) = (5 x 7) - (2 x 3).
23 was street-slang for the one step you used to confront me with a distraction, take 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 more, I.E. keep walking and don't bother me.
