For awhile.... Before GLoP installed it , Amkon had a special ignore feature programmed into it. For awhile if you ignored someone they could not post in your thread. TO get over that we opted with duplicate threads. Meaning if two members had a spat and one ignored the other then the other was free to start their own thread... Kinda like our duplicate asteroid threads. I thought it worked well... They scrapped the hell out of it. Still , It did work as intended..meaning when the ones we ignore can't post in our threads then they can't hi-jak or de-rail. They can't run up to your table at the bar and start talking loudly smoking cussing.


If that style of ignore were in place I doubt anyone would leave over it , however I bet more might stay longer and more might appear.

No doubt it takes a tough skin to make your point here, but that is the nature of a faceless media, and its a bit of a phenomena where words become the only form of expression, rather than an eye to eye exchange that would regulate the conversation with consequences. This "luxury" of sorts allows people say things they otherwise wouldn't have the nuts to do in a physical exchange. BUT... this luxury comes with a price, in as much that it demands some character.
