Shapes and Forms of Lighting
Lighting is one of the most important components of a house. Depending on the type of lighting there are many different styles, sizes and shapes of lighting fixtures that are available.
The best way to add style and a decorative focal point to almost any room in the house is by fixing chandeliers. They were traditionally used in dining rooms, but now they are being used in bedrooms, kitchens, family rooms, living rooms, etc. To provide task lighting for homework, table games or to accent table settings, chandeliers with down-lights can be used. Chandeliers with fabric or glass shades are also available which reduce glare and provide an artistic element. Dimmers can be added to the chandeliers so that the intensity of the light can be altered to suit the mood or activity.
Hall or Foyer fixtures can be used to create a beautiful focal point at the entrance of the house. It provides ambient lighting that gives a welcoming look to the living room. The type of fixture should be decided depending on the ceiling height of the space. Large chandeliers and chain hung foyer fixtures are most appropriate in houses with taller ceilings and over stairways. In houses with lower ceilings and in hallways, surface-mounted and close-to-ceiling fixtures can be used. It is important to illuminate the entire stairways properly to prevent accidents.
Real estate industry has become very hot these days. The rising prices have made builders very conscious about their projects. Customers are also becoming increasingly demanding. The builders of Cochin apartments are trying to provide maximum services to their clients for better customer satisfaction.
