    Farrakahn to the rescue!

There is so much wrong with this story that I don't know where to begin. LOL @ Chicago.

But let's see. Chicago has some of the strictest gun laws in the country yet they still seem to have a murder problem.

    http://www.thenewamerican.com/usnews...to-exceed-2011

"The number of murders in Chicago is on track to exceed last year’s number by at least 16 percent, crime data show.

Some weekends in the City With the Big Shoulders are violent to the extreme, with as many as 10 murders and dozens of shootings.

Chicago is on track to reach 504 murders, or about 42 murders per month if the trend continues through 2012. By June of this year, the New York Times reported last month, the city’s number of murders had jumped 39 percent over what they were last year at the same time.

Then mayor Rahm Emanuel decides that the views of Chick-Fil-A (which is against gay marrieage just like Rahm's boy Obama was up until he had a revelation a few months back) is so against "Chicago values" that he wants to prevent Chick-Fil-A from opening anymore stores in Chicago. So much for jobs at Chick-Fil-A. Now mind you that Chick-Fil-A does not discriminate against gays so Rahm wants to now punish people for having views that do not align with his.

    http://www.zimbio.com/Rahm+Emanuel/a...lues+Chick+Fil

"Chicago is known as the "city of big shoulders". It signifies the work ethic and values that built one of the greatest cities in America. It should be no surprise Mayor Rahm Emanuel wishes to redefine what Chicago values are as he pushes his social agenda defining all Chicagoans as the collective.

It's hard to miss it as I was walking in the loop this week--a brand new Chick-Fil-A restaurant. A friendly cow greeting the sidewalk warriors begging them to eat more chick'n. It's another example of one American investing in the American dream as a small business owner. If Mayor Emanuel had his way, he would lock the door immediately and kill one woman's dream.

This new Chick-Fil-A is under attack by the mayor. Emanuel speaks out against Chick-Fil-A because the CEO of the company is a Christian who still believes in Christian values. Chick-Fil-A is closed on Sundays, and the CEO still believes in traditional marriage. Mayor Emanuel says Chick-Fil-A doesn't represent Chicago values and has launched his own war against the fast food restaurant that just opened in the "Loop".

Doesn't represent Chicago values? Are you serious Mayor?"

    LOL @ Chicago again!

    But wait! There is more.

To solve the problem of ever increasing murders in the moral value city of Chicago - Rahm teams up with Louis Farrakahn. Yes Louis Farrakahn, a well known anti-semite and racist who is also against gay marriage!!!

    http://www.suntimes.com/news/metro/1...c-remarks.html

"Ignoring Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan’s history of anti-Semitic remarks, Mayor Rahm Emanuel on Wednesday welcomed the army of men dispatched to the streets by Farrakhan to stop the violence in Chicago neighborhoods.

Ald. Debra Silverstein (50th), an Orthodox Jew, has said it’s good that Farrakhan is “helping” in the fight against crime, “but it doesn’t eradicate the comments that he’s made about the Jewish community.”

Emanuel offered no such caveat. Although Farrakhan has a history of making anti-Semitic statements, Chicago’s first Jewish mayor has no interest in revisiting that controversy.

He’s more concerned about reducing a 40 percent surge in Chicago homicides that’s become a media obsession and threatens to undermine his efforts to market Chicago to international tourists.

“People of faith have a role to play and community leaders have a role to play in helping to protect our neighborhoods and our citizens. You cannot get there on just one piece of an anti-crime strategy,” the mayor said.

    People of faith???

Isn't this just like using the Hell's Angels for security at Altamont? We know how well that worked out.

Hey - why not put the KKK in charge of cleaning up Atlanta?

Farrakahn was most-likely a member of the team that assassinated The Honorable Malcolm X.

And Emanuel leaves the DC power-center to 'run' for mayor, somehow avoiding the elligibility cutoff... somehow scamming Chicago's residency-board, and somehow WINS against 2 popular black Democrat-candidates who'd already been campaigning for months.

I'm not surprised these two pigs are farm-troughing together.

Like Obama, Emanuel showed his intolerant true-self off-teleprompter. A mayor has no business telling a business-owner how to think. -See, this is what the modern Left is, post-Clinton.

Hey, Chicago. Corrupt politics isn't funny. Neither is murder. Louisiana found that out.

People better realize that Nation Of Islam, under The Honorable Elijah Muhammad and The American Nazi Party, under George Lincoln Rockwell attended each-other's meetings in the 60's, and publically admired each-other's deeds and stances. The KKK sold 5,000 acres to the NOI in 61-62, which became Muhammad Farms, in Terrell County Georgia.

I would've thought that this would be a conservative's wet dream. Free labor, black guys, crime fighting, you got the whole magilla here. Besides, if saying stupid stuff excused us from the responsibilities of citizenship then... hey... wait a minute...

Right, right, right. Chick-Fil-A is evil and must be banished from the shinning example of liberalism, Chicago, because the owner said something stupid about supporting traditional marriage, but Farrakahn is going to fix everything and we should ignore the stupid things he says because, hey, it's free labor. Ok Bob.

I cannot help but agree with you on the chick-fil-a stupidity. They like traditional marriage...so do I. Conservatives have no one but themselves to blame for the gay marriage issue. It is a creation of Tom Delay and Karl Rove. There was very little call for gay marriage until those two boneheads led the charge to solve a problem that didn't exist. The gays only wanted the rights reserved for other long term relation partners, the idea that "marriage" solved that issue for them is the sole province of the republican party. Well done fellows...well done.

Totally agree with you on this. I fully support marriage for anyone who wishes to be as miserable as heterosexuals. I'm not a big fan of marriage myself, having tried it out twice and ended up feeling like I sold my soul to stay married before I came to my senses, but hey, whatever floats your boat.

But the issue at hand is not really gay marriage. It's government trying to tell others how they should think by staging boycotts of businesses owned by those that the mayor does not agree with. Then on top of that - teaming up with a racist, anti-semite who is also against gay marriage to help fight crime in his city. Because everyone knows that the Nation of Islam would never encourage or support violence against others...

Agreed. The good news is that even in this country no one is dumb enough to confuse chicken with poltics. If the chicken tastes good people will buy. I'm pretty sure the Col. Sanders wouldve felt the same way. I don't, but if a bucket is half price, Jesus be damned, I'm getting in line!
