Favorite Star Wars?

Well you really cant do this for a movie like Lord of The Rings because they are like all connected and they are one huge movie..But most people can do this with Star Wars.

Very simple...which one is your favorite.

Easily 'The Empire Strikes Back', dark and less talk, more action. Nothing wrong with the good guys getting their arses kicked once in a while.

'Episode 1 (the Phantom Menace)' was bollocks, as was 'Return of the Jedi' once Han Solo had been rescued.

'A New Hope' was ground-breaking and 'Attack of the Clones' was a welcome return to form.

I loved the empire strikes back. It is honestly one of the best movies of all time. Definitley in the top 5.

PS-TITANIC IS TOO LONG TOO BE GOOD! Thats my opinion....probably not everyone elses.

I'm part of the herd here, Empire for sure. Purest Space Opera in the classic style and no cutesy crap creatures (Yoda rocks) or silly music or weird 'Lucas-view' sociology bites. Just pure story, gotta love it.

I too voted empire strikes back, i love it that that movie was much darker that the others

and bbb, Titanic would have been good if it were an action instead of some romantic mushy crap, let Red Shift re direct it and you'll see big changes mwahahaha

Yeah I think this poll should of waited.. I believe Episode 3 is going to be the best. Otherwise I liked Return of the Jedi... Palpatine cracks me up in it. I couldn't stand the Ewoks though :/

I had to go with The Empire Strikes Back. A New Hope comes in a close second. Then Attack of the Clones third, then Return of the Jedi and Phantom Menace falling in last.

The Empire Strikes Back had the Empiral Walkers! Ice world of Hoth! Yoda! Cloud City! Come on, it Rocked!

The new one in two weeks could top it though. We have 5 other movies building up to this one, and we all know what is going to happen, but just not how it takes place. It should be good.

I think the overall alure of these 3 prequils is to see how everything came to be. This last one, is the last of what will link them to what we all grew up loving (The Original Star Wars Trilogy). I'm anxious to see how Anakin becomes Darth Vader, and how the twins got separated, and how the clone wars ended the jedi, and how the emporer came to be. It will aid in the enjoyment of the first three, (or episode 4,5,6).

Now we can only look forward to episode 7,8,9. Do we know if it will be made?

well i saw a statement released by george lucas that 7,8 and 9 would not be made, but with such a money making movie set, i'd be surprised if he can resist it, and i would wanna do more if i were him, just for the fact that he gets to write more stories and create more creatures, worlds and other stuff, if he doesn't i will!......try......

Ah... but you have Anakin.
Don't think of it in terms of Movie and Jar Jar Binks... Think of the story... Read the books and don't visualize the movie... The history behind who Darth Vader was is an explaination of who he becomes and why he can save Luke in Return of the Jedi.

I think this one has the potential to make up for the others. It looks much darker and deeper in story, most likely with some great effects as well.

I heard this one was going to be rated M instead of PG.

i say episode 3, anaking turning into vader, destruction of the republic, stormtroopers owning jedis, jar jar getting killed(hopefully). I cant wait till 19th of MAY!!!!
