Overcoming Armageddon - The Beginning & The End
Do you think that future scientists will devise a way of bringing themselves into existence, and is what we see around us the scientist's way of doing this?
Do you think that future scientists will devise a way of transferring the consciousness of every being that has ever existed one nanosecond before death to man-made eternal bodies in a man-made heaven for eternity?

Welcome to the boards Kizzi.
I must say that I am a bit confused by what you are asking. Can you describe it a bit more or maybe pose your questions a bit differently? Thanks.

It's Logical really......
Imagine this place without the universe,.....a VOID. So I believe 'this place' can exist in one of two states:-
State 1: Void, and remaining Void for eternity, or
State 2: Intelligent, where the inteligence has devised a way of bringing itself into existence.
(Its logical really)
As we Humans exist, State 2 seems to be the winning state of 'this place', and therefore, the universe was brought into existence by future Human/Alien scientists in order to create themselves, ie, to create the intelligence necessary to bring itself into existence.
I'm suggesting that if Human/Humanoid intelligence didn't exist, the universe would not exist either! State 1 would be the winning state.
You can gather I don't believe that a natural phenomena could create the universe from nothing. It just ain't logical.
& I'm leaving God out of the equation for argument's sake.

Are you with me!
When we die there is a possibility we will enter a man-made heaven and have man-made eternal bodies. These will be prepared by future scientists. As we die our consciousness might be transferred to these man-made eternal bodies..... for eternity.
So at all costs at least some of us have to survive armageddon so that we can rebuild the world and society and continue science where we left off.

first, do you mock Alex Haley's Roots with your name? (just wondering)
second, are you aware of how confusing your syntax is? (just wondering)
third, have you ever read the work of Douglas Hofsteader?
I'd love to try and take on a question, if I could understand your point ... if you're being deliberately obfuscating know that it only goes so far - otherwise I welcome you to re-phrase your points in a manner more generally understandable to those of us who speak English as a Second Language (like me).For every human problem there is an easy and simple answer. And it is always wrong. - H.L. Mencken

I think this would be more likely...
Imagine, if you will, a realm in which there is no height, width, depth or time – imagine an entity who lives in this realm – an entity called Llixgrijb. Imagine that poor Llixgrijb is trapped by some sort of extra-dimensional cave-in – there is no escape. But Llixgrijb cannot die. The consciousness will continue, all alone and completely paralyzed for eternity – or whatever the equivalent of eternity is in that realm. How would you deal with this situation?? Perhaps you’d choose to create worlds in your mind, worlds within yourself – Llixgrijb chose to create a universe.
- - - - -
Slowly, Llixgrijb thought about it. It thought of a concept called ‘place’, and it chose to set about creating one - then another - then connecting them together. Llixgrijb created a vision in which everything was connected to everything else.
- - - - -
Now, outside of time and space, Llixgrijb started working on its greatest achievement: a universe with height, width, depth and time – a universe with the illusion of chronological history. And then it chose to create imaginary entities for its entertainment – imaginary entities like yourself, gentle reader. But Llixgrijb was afraid. “Suppose my creatures discover they are only phantoms,” wondered Llixgrijb – “suppose they learn that I am the only reality...”
- - - - -
Outside of time and space, Llixgrijb was still dissatisfied. “I have created a world full of imaginary creatures”, said Llixgrijb “and yet I am alone. How can this be?” Despite the populousness of its illusion, Llixgrijb could only watch its lovely universe from the outside. It had not forgotten its own suffering and loneliness. It was not fully a part of the creation it had made. “I must become part of my illusion”, considered Llixgrijb, “and to do that, I must don a costume; I must wear a mask. I must forget myself forever. But what, or who, shall I become?”

The only way I see future scientists devising a way of bringing themselves into existence is by them getting the education they will need and having the will to do and become a scientist. Not to leave out having the imagination and mind neccessary to question anything.
Other than that, Im at a complete loss.
