As you can see, January 2009 was a super busy month on the site. Armageddon Online is listed on larger / news sites on a frequent basis. Sites like digg or reddit also contribute to the overall traffic. February was "more normal" for overall numbers, and frequently is what Armageddon Online get's during 'mediocre' months.

What does this mean?

Well - I'll put it bluntly.... Traffic can go from a steady 5,000 or so unique visitors a day, to upwards of 50,000+. I know many websites have traffic "spikes" - AO is no different, but at the same time it's impossible to guage exactly what "average" is. Whenever an "event" or "major" disaster occurs, we are often in the forefront for articles, news and debate.
