The storm has sustained winds of 45mph, gusts to 58mph.

Computer models are predicting that Fernanda will retain tropical storm strength as it moves closer, but not attain hurricane-force winds. If all goes as predicted, the storm will start to weaken Sunday as it passes well to the south of the islands.
